The small hospital bed was only able to really fit one person, and the blankets that were perched on the side table were also only meant to cover one single body. But you didn't care in the least bit, you couldn't sleep anywhere else tonight except with him. Earlier you stepped plainly in to the Infirmary and used a confundus charm to misdirect and confuse the nurse who was on duty. It was a difficult charm that usually had to be performed by a skilled wizard with a high level of concentration. However the determination and pure need to be with Draco tonight was simply enough to produce the charm successfully.

Draco was fast asleep as you propped yourself up on your elbow watching his eyelids twitch a bit. Snape told you that he's completely fine and that the spell Harry used was one of his own, however neither of you could tell the nurse that. So instead the two of you lied and said that Draco and Potter we're practicing for a charms class presentation and something went astray. Which is why he laid knocked out from pain relievers and smothered with soft light blankets.

"When you wake up we're going to do this together, finish this once and for all."

Your words of encouragement were met with a snore and a soft grunt. You hoped that when he did finally wake up and you repeated that statement that he would take it well. You were extremely exhausted from constantly trying to change the reality and abide by the standards of your peers— and you were sure Draco was as well. If the two of you could now come together and figure this out, there would be very little time in between this moment and Dumbledores death. But for right now, you needed to sleep, so laying down in the very tiny available space left on the bed you closed your eyes and drifted off.

The sound of a foot tapping anxiously upon the hard floor awoke you, causing you to let out a long groan as you stretched your arms above your head. You slowly rolled over, trying not to bump Draco and looked up at the man above you.

"Slept well i see." Snape muttered.

"Im not leaving his side so if that's what your imply-"

"I'm not implying—anything." He said in his usually monotone voice.

You wanted to disregard him and roll back over to go back to bed, however after what he did to save Draco you felt like you had no choice but to comply. And judging by Snape's unwavering stance above you, you knew that he wanted something from you.

"What is it Professor?" You grumbled rolling out of the bed and standing up.

"I need to teach you some things—come with me."

You raised your brow, concerned with the vagueness of his response. Reluctantly you slid on your school robe and followed Snape out of the infirmary, the silence between you two made the whole interaction even more awkward. Madam Humprhey waltzed down hallway with a dizzy grin upon her face and eyes wide and glazed over. As she passed you and Severus she gave you a frilly wave and then skipped back toward the students in their hospital beds.

"A Confundos charm? Really?" Snape inquired looking down at you as you walked.

"What? I havent the slightest idea what you're talking about?"

Snape almost let out a chuckle at your response as he continued to guide you up the ever changing staircases, stopping when you reached the seventh floor. You followed him to where the doors of the room of requirement had appeared, although the patterns and nobs of the door had changed a bit. When he opened the door you weren't greeted with the smell of old dusty antiques and mildew—instead it was a clean and pristine room. For the most part it was empty except there laid two dummy's at either corner of the room and a set of spell books on the table.
