Zarah
"Saturday had finally arrived, bringing with it a welcome respite from the grueling school routine. I couldn't help but think, 'Who said school is easy?' The past month had been a blur of lectures and assignments, but Alhamdulillah, I had made it through.

But my excitement about the weekend was short-lived, as I stumbled upon a shocking discovery - Abdul had joined Instagram! I was over the moon, jumping and dancing like a fool when I saw his profile. And then, I saw his picture... he looked incredibly handsome, and I couldn't help but swoon. But my joy was short-lived, as I realized he hadn't replied to or liked any of my comments. Talk about a buzzkill!

Things only got worse when I found out he's dating Asma'u, the daughter of the former governor of Katsina State, Asma'u Abubakar Bulama. She was everything I wasn't - beautiful, smart, and accomplished. It was hard to fathom why someone like him would even consider me when he had someone like her by his side. I felt hopeless, like my world was crumbling around me.

As much as it pained me to admit it, the truth was undeniable - Abdul and Asma'u were deeply in love, and it showed. Their relationship was the stuff of fairytales, leaving me to wonder if I had ever stood a chance."

"From what I've gathered, Abdul's family is well aware of his relationship with Asma'u. And yesterday, I saw proof of their affection when she commented on his post. I couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy, wallah! It's crazy, I know, but I can't help the way I feel. I'm falling for someone who doesn't even know I exist!

Ama has been telling me the truth - I've been crushing on him hard, and he's completely oblivious. It's like I'm invisible. And now, I see his latest post this morning, announcing his return to Nigeria... I can't help but wonder if he's come back to see Asma'u or if there's something else on his mind, known only to God.

The thought of him being back in the country, possibly with Asma'u by his side, is driving me crazy. I need to snap out of this fantasy and face reality - Abdul is out of my league, and I need to move on."

"As I glanced at the clock, I saw it was already 1:30 pm. I got out of bed, feeling a bit sluggish, and headed to the shower. Wrapped in a towel, I couldn't help but think about Abdul's recent post announcing his return to Nigeria. I wondered if he was coming back for Asma'u or if there was another reason for his return.

After getting dressed in a comfortable pair of jeans and a black oversized shirt, I plugged in my phone to charge and put it on silent mode, avoiding any potential calls from Farooq. I had almost forgotten to mention that the next day at school, I had a encounter with Ama. We hadn't spoken in about a week, but she came up to me and apologized for her behavior, explaining that Farooq had been bothering her a lot. I forgave her, of course - I couldn't stay mad at her for long."

"I headed to the kitchen to prepare some lunch - spaghetti and stew. As I sat down to eat, I realized l Anty Ramla has left for the studio. I planned to follow her there later, hoping to persuade her to lend me some money. Her shop is located at U/Dosa, but I didn't have enough money for transportation. I decided to ask Ammi to give me money , hoping she would give  me.

Just then, I asked Ammi, "Where's Chuchu?" She replied, "They've gone to the barber shop." Sunje aski , "Tomorrow, you and Ramla are going to Hajiya Shamsiya's house for Iklima's wedding dinner at 8:00 pm." I was taken aback, "Ammi, honestly, I don't want to go! Besides, who will take us there?" I whined, almost choking on my food. The invitation was on the TV stand, but I wasn't interested in attending."

"Ammi replied, "They said there will be cars to take you to the wedding, and Ramla is doing the bride's makeup. You can go with her." I pouted, "Okay, fine." But Ammi wasn't having it - she smacked my mouth and said, "Stand up, and don't make me slap you!" I quickly obeyed, saying, "Ammi, please, just give me N100.    I want to go to Anty Ramla's shop." But Ammi is skeptical,

Where's your money? Hafix gave you N500 yesterday, what did you do with it?" I explained, "Ammi, I used it to subscribe to a plan, and I don't think he'll give me more if I ask. Please, just N100." Ammi relented, "Go inside my bag and take it." I thanked her and grabbed the money.

As I stepped out to find a cab, Hafix's car pulled up in front of me. "Where are you going?" he asked, looking curious."

"Anty ramla shop please ya hafix drop me see the sun is too much ya hafix please save my poor skin..

"They dropped me off at Aunt Ramla's shop while they drove back home. She had customers waiting, about five people. '

Aunt Ramla, aren't you happy to see me?' I asked. '

Why would I be happy knowing the only reason you're visiting me is because you want money?' she replied. Aunt Ramla knows me too well; she knows I only visit her when I need something. That's why she said that.

'Aunt Ramla, you're my one and only, wallah! If you get married, I'll miss you so much; the house will be boring without you. Did Ammi tell you about the wedding?' I asked.

"Yes, she did,' she replied. 'So, about my share...' I started to ask. 'Aunt Ramla, will you do my makeup tomorrow before we leave? I know if we go, you'll be busy doing the bride's makeup, so I'm begging you not to say no. I know you...' I said, trying to persuade her. But she cut me off, 'Where's the money? You need to pay me; last time, you didn't pay me my money.' 'Aunt Ramla, last time, it was  Ya Hafiz who said he would pay you, not me!' I clarified."

And this one I promise to return back your lipstick

"Wai "Ya Hafix bought ice cream for Chuchu but he didn't buy any for me," I said. "And everyone knows ice cream is my favorite. Please, just give me the money so I can stop asking you guys for stuff. If I had a real boyfriend, I could call him and ask him to bring me ice cream and he'd do it right away."

Anty ramla throws a comb to me keep quiet chatter box aren't you tired of talking...
