Sadness (poem)

You're (P.O.V.)

I don't think many people understand what sadness feels like

It feels like your brain went on a hike

Your mind starts to wonder

Then you start to ponder

Overthinking things getting sad at night

No hope nothing seems bright

This feeling in my chest

I wonder are my troubles and agony a test?

It surely feels like I'm falling

The tears go down my face I'm bailing

Why do I seem to face these trials?

My mind doesn't seem to be in denial

I wish I was normal

Then my family will see me as more formal

This darkness and sadness I feel I can't explain

The words the thoughts are stuck in my brain

Happiness seems so far

Because all this sadness left a scar

I hope that you find happiness

I hope you see the brightness

Life has shown up opportunities

Even capabilities

I found my purpose in life
