**Request for chloemin09 where Peter goes on a field trip to SI and... Well, I won't spoil it, but it's cute and I really love Doctor Strange, so yeah. This one was monster long, like I think the final word count was 3k+ so sorry in advance, lol. Anyways, enjoy!!**

The bus windows were fogged over a little as Peter and his class boarded at the crack of dawn 7am. Peter hated mornings, even before he was spending most of his nights swinging around New York City and getting beat up. It was especially cold in the mornings, so Peter was bundled up in not one, but two sweaters. Those pesky spider genes made him much more susceptible to hibernation, which in a human, manifested as organ failure and comatose sleeping.

Ned made sure to sit a little closer than normal on the bus. He knew how bad winters could be for Peter now, so he did what he could.

"Ooohh," Flash taunted, twisting himself around in his own seat to look over at Ned and Peter. "I always pegged you two for being homos."

"Leave us alone, Flash," Ned said, his face heating up. Flash just laughed and turned back around.

Peter put a hand on Ned's arm and pushed him back a little. "It's fine," he said through chattering teeth. "Don't worry about me, I'm wearing two sweaters anyways."

Ned gave his friend a sad smile, but didn't argue. The rest of the ride was quiet - as quiet as a bus full of high schoolers can be - and Flash didn't bother them anymore. Peter took a short cat nap to try and curb some of the effects of being so cold, but it wasn't much help.

When they finally arrived at the tower, Ned nudged Peter awake and the teen stumbled into the lobby, happy for the heat. He was just starting to relax when he heard a familiar voice.

"Peter!" It was Bruce, heading over from where the elevators were. "I heard you were coming for a tour!"

The crowd of teens parted for the world renowned scientist. Being a school for nerds meant that every one of the teens knew who he was and began to freak out as the scientist ruffled Peter's curls and handed over a sweater that smelled of motor oil and black coffee. Peter recognized it as Tony's right away and slipped it on happily.

"Tones said you were coming in and it was pretty cold this morning so he sent me down with this." The scientist leaned in for a hug before whispering into Peter's ear. "The others are gonna come and embarrass you. Sorry, I tried to stop them. Best I can do is warn you."

As Bruce stood back upright and headed back to the elevators, throwing a wave over his shoulder as he did so.

Peter smiled and pulled the sleeves of Tony's sweater over his hands and up to his face. The familiar and comforting scent was enough to put a smile on his face, but when he looked up to see his whole class staring, he quickly sobered up and the smile slipped off his face. Before anyone could say anything, however, the tour was starting and an intern came over to start things off. Peter recognized her from around the tower, but he hardly ever worked down on the intern floors.

"Hi, everyone! My name is Sophia and I am an intern here at the tower. I work on engineering projects on the research floor but I also-"

Peter zoned out. He wasn't interested in all the backstory and history - he'd heard it a million times before from Pepper - but he zoned back in when they headed through the security scanners.

Each kid went through, Peter at the back of the line, and FRIDAY greeted each one. It was the programmed visitors-only greeting - the name registered to each visitor pass and an 'enjoy your day' at the end.

For Peter, though, things went a little differently.

"Hello, Peter, its good to see you. I see you got Boss's sweater, good. Your core body temperature is still very low, however, and per the 'The Avengers Love The Baby' protocol I have to inform the nearest Avenger of your condition."
