CHAPTER-41

"There we were, killing ourselves to find a trait of life, and here they have a whole ass village here!" Jennie said.

Jennie, Lisa, JK, and V were now in front of a village-like place. The village was hidden well behind a waterfall. Everything here is so mysterious. The village had these cute houses which looked like big trees, some looked like cones made out of huge leaves. It felt like they all shrank to a smaller size and this village was some kind of miniature set.

It literally took no time. The owl, whose name was Alecto, told them that the villagers were trying to find them since they reached there. Alecto also asked them to sleep for the night and then meet him.

The next morning Lisa was the first to wake up. They slept in one of those cone-like houses. She went out, rubbing her eyes, and saw the sunrise.

"Beautiful" She whispered. These past days none of them really had time to stop for a moment and just enjoy these things. They were all busy saving the world.

She felt someone hug her from behind. It was Jungkook. He kissed her shoulder and put his chin on it. "Goodmorning," He said in a raspy voice.

"Good morning sleepyhead." Lisa said while messing his hair.

"What are you doing here?"

"I am looking at the sunrise. It is so beautiful. We have been so busy these days, we didn't even get time to appreciate all the beautiful things around us."

"I mean I tell you that you are pretty every day. So, I do appreciate them."

"Oh my god, Jungkook! Can we try to be serious here?" Lisa said chuckling.

"Hey lovebirds." A voice came from behind and both of them separated. It was Jennie.

"Yah Jennie noona! You know I don't like those weird names" Lisa said, pouting.

Jennie laughed and said, "Alright alright. You two get ready, we need to go meet Alecto in an hour."

"Okay." Lisa and Jungkook said together and marched in the room. 

After some time all the four of them were seated inside a tree hole, which had literal leaves and stones as its furniture.

"How did they even find these big stones." Taehyung said, analyzing the room.

"The stones aren't big my lord, none of the things here are. You have become smaller in size." Alecto came from behind.

"What are you talking about?"

"When you all came here, we passed through a tunnel. That tunnel shrank your size. You know we can't have a whole big village in the land of Devil." Alecto said.

They all nodded in understanding. They were so used to these weird surprises that if a weird grey alien would come from the future and tell them that it is their future version, they won't be surprised.

"Now towards the more important things your highnesses. You all are here for the crowns. Aren't you?" Alecto asked.

" Yes." Jennie said.

"Acquiring the crowns isn't that easy. Your highness will be put through a difficult time to get those and will have to prove their worth."

"We are ready to do that" JK said.

Alecto nodded and said, "We will give your highness a map that will take them there. It will save time."

"Thank you so much Alecto!" Lisa said.

"I am merely doing my duty, my lady." He then pulled something from behind his wings, "Here.. the map." He handed over the map to Lisa.

"I think your highness should start their journey as soon as possible."

"We cannot thank you enough Alecto. We owe you" Tae said and all of them bowed a ninety-degree and took their leave.

Alecto sat down on a chair.

"Alecto." Someone came into the room. It was Lisa.

"What happened my lady?"

"Alecto why are you all living here like this. Come to our universe, you all will be welcomed warmly."

"We want to my lady but we can't. We are under a curse."

"What curse?"

"Our ancestors helped Devil, establish his empire inside the universe. There was a time when Devil was a prisoner in Hell. But now, because of our ancestors' greed, he escaped. We actually used to be angels, but this curse..." Alecto sighed.

"Don't worry Alecto we will defeat the devil and break this curse." Lisa said, bowed, and ran towards her friends.

She really is an angel. Alecto thought

"The hell is all this?" Jin asked, looking at the scene in front of him.

"This is ruthless." Jisoo whispered.

There was a room behind the door. There were humans in the room. Dead or dying ones. There were old people lying on the ground, starving.

There were kids on the other side. Babies. Dead babies. All of them were stacked on the ground like they never really existed.

Jisoo ran out of the room.

"I will go to her. She is just scared." Jin said. He went outside and saw Jisoo in a trauma.

"Sooya..."

"He is gonna do that with us too...How can someone be so cruel." Jisoo asked. She was on the brink of crying.

"That's why he is The Devil Jisoo. He is supposed to be ruthless and cruel." Jin said as he walked towards Jisoo. "And we will defeat him to make this world a better place, to give justice to those innocent lives."

Jisoo looked at him and said, "Thank you Jin, this means a lot."

"No problem. We are friends after all. Now, shall we go inside?" Jisoo nodded.

"Guys remember Yoongi told us something about the Devil sucking lives out of people?" GD said and others nodded.

"Well guess these are the same people." GD said

"They were taken by Lucifer and then he sucked lives out of them. He does this to stay alive. Because he is not in hell anymore, he is here he needs more energy" Namjoon enlightened them further.

"Yes, and because he was sleeping in the hell, he was weak all those years. Now, he wants to be stronger than ever. Just imagine, even when he was so weak, we all would shiver at his name and now that he will be... "GD said.

"GD subae." Jisoo said.

"Hmm"

"If Lucifer is getting stronger because of the magic from outside, then what would happen if he wouldn't be able to get people from our world anymore?"

"He wouldn't be strong anymore." GD eyes widened at his own words. "Jisoo! You are a genius!"

"I am Jisoo. I am smart" Jisoo said flipping her hair.

"Hyung what if we try to make a same kind of sheet that was on The Enchanted Island of Oblivion. That sheet cut all the connection of it from the outside world." Namjoon added.

"And we will only use a protective shield so that Jungkook and others will be able to use magic." Jin said.
