Euphoria

CHAPTER-44

It was another sunlit and happy morning at the five elemental planets of the galaxy - Euphoria, Utopia, Seneca, Astra, and Virgo. Some people were on the way to work, some were at the main café watching political news, kids were playing in the park with their mothers buying loaves of bread.

The King was in the courtroom discussing strategies with his ministers, the Queen was beside him. At Cyppriannae school of Magicians, the students were in the class, some at the ground and some were in the library studying for their a month away examinations.

Suddenly the beautiful sunny sky turned into smokey grey, it was like there was a thunderstorm on the way.  Something was definitely wrong, you could feel it through the sudden change in the air. The air was denser now, making it harder to breathe.

Suddenly hundreds of figures emerged in the skies out of nowhere. Some were on broomsticks and others on, what looked like a spaceship. They threw a ball in the sky, the ball burst, and 'Lucifer has returned!' was written on the skies in neon green color.

The peaceful morning was not peaceful anymore, it was a hustle now. People running around, even the school was restless now. Students were running to see the sign and gasping.

The headmaster and the queen saw this too. They looked at each other and nodded their heads.

"I suppose it's the time now, queen." The Headmaster said.

"What now?"

"Now we need to get out of here and find the rose crowns. That should be our priority right now." Lisa said.

"But how? This is not our playground, it is Lucifer's castle!" Jennie said.

Taehyung bent down towards the four knocked out soldiers in front of them. He took the amulet one of them was wearing.

As soon as the amulet left its skin, the soldier was turned into a creature, a black hooded one.

"I knew it!" Taehyung exclaimed. "Remember Jennie we learned about the Transfiguration antiques the other day. "

Taehyung then wore the amulet and suddenly turned into a soldier.

"Wow!" Jungkook said. "That's genius Hyung!" Taehyung grinned at this.

"Okay, so the plan is, we wear these amulets and start searching for the rose crowns," Lisa said.

"Exactly, Lucifer knows we are after the crowns. He must have gotten a lead on it." Jennie said

All of them wore amulets. Lisa apparated the real soldiers to a cupboard and applied a sleeping charm so that they won't wake up in less than a day.

"Okay act normally, like an evil soldier would and speak only when it is very very important," Jungkook said. Everyone nodded.

All them went out of the room. They were walking in a quartet, Jungkook and tae were in front. They were also observing the whole castle. It was huge, it had marble floor and huge pillars in the corridor. There were golden chandeliers on the ceiling but the aura was really dark, like there were some of those dark filter before their eyes.

After a few minutes of wandering they met another guard.

"Hey! What are you four doing? Didn't Lord say that we don't have time for wandering." He said from the end of corridor.

"Oh no oh no" Lisa muttered, "What will we do now"

"Oh! We were not wandering.....we were.....hmmm...""finding The King." Jungkook said nervously.

"King is out" The guard said knitting his eyebrows, "Don't you know? Today's the day of attack"

"What!" Jennie exclaimed. The other guard looked at her suspiciously. "I mean obviously we knew but.....The King did want to meet us....uhmmm....must have been a mistake." Jennie laughed awkwardly.

That guard still wasn't convinced, "You four do not wander around. Go and guard the library. There's something of high significance there" He said and walked away.

All of them took a breathe of relief. "We almost blew off the cover" Tae said

"He said their is something important in the library didn't he?" Lisa said. "Let's go their"

All of them reached the library after a good fifteen minutes of finding it.

"What was he saying about the attack tho?" Jennie asked.

"Don't know. But first we need to focus on whatever that is here" Jungkook said. "So the plan. I and Lisa will go inside. Hyung, you and noona will be guarding the room. Just leave a spark if someone comes."

All of them nodded. "C'mon Lali let's go." He said.

Lisa and Jungkook went inside the huge library. It was probably double the size of the one they had in school. "Whoa" Lisa said.

"Hey, there's a study. Let's check there" Jungkook said, "You know I am surprised that Lucifer knows how to read" He said, trying to loghten up the mood.

He was successful as it did crack a smile on Lisa's face. "You are impossible Kook," She said chuckling.

They started searching for something, anything suspicious. After some time of finding nothing, Lisa went to the huge shelves to try her luck their.

"Lisa!" Jungkook whisper-shouted.

"You found something Kook?" Lisa said, walking towards ths study

"I found this" Jungkook showed her an artifecate made of gold. It was in the shope of Rose.

"What is this?". Suddenly a spark came flying towards them and burst in front of their faces.

"Oh no! Someone's coming. Let's go." Jungkook said. Lisa put the rose in her coat and both of them ran towards the entrance.

"Stand still." That was all that Jennie said. They saw a guard coming towards them.

"Hey, you four okay there?" All of them nodded, "Do you know who were te guards guarding those filthy immosrtal prisoners" The guard asked in a disgusted tone.

"N-no What happened?" jungkook asked.

"Nobody is there, actually." He said and went away.

"Oh no" Lisa muttered.

"What happened?" Taehyung asked.

"They know no one's there, the new guards will naturally check the prison. They are gonna fid out about our escape soon" Lisa said.

"We need to get out of here." Jennie said.

"But before that" Lisa said as she took out the rose. "We found this in the library"

Lisa took out her wand and said, "Reveal your secrets"

The rose petal flew out of her hand and stood still in the air. The petals of the rose started shedding until it reached the very end. A small ball was what left. It came back to Lisa's hand.

Lisa opened the ball and found a piece of parchment in it. The Parchment read:

"Meburos might be the end
  But says who it is finished
  Where they mend, roses are the best.
  Where the stars will end,
  is where the eagle's nest."
