It's only five in the morning but I decided to get up from my bed and head to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.I started frying bacons,hams and eggs while making mom and dad's coffee.I also cooked some pancakes and prepared strawberry syrup. Multi-tasking at it's best.I chuckled.

I'm almost done with everything when mom entered the kitchen.Surprise was written on her face but was quickly replaced by a smile seeing me with an apron while preparing the table for breakfast.I quickly went to her and kissed her goodmorning as I led her to the table.Not long after,Dad entered the kitchen too.

We are all silently eating breakfast when mom broke the silence..

"I can't still believe you just prepared breakfast for all of us not even burning down the whole kitchen,thank you baby"my mom said

"Thanks for what?for preparing breakfast or for not burning down the kitchen?" I asked,

"Both"Mom teased me..

"Mom!" I whined

"I'm just kidding baby..anyway,everything is so good.I didn't know you cook good" mom chuckled

"Mom,it's just fried stuffs and a pancake. Nothing so special" I pouted,

"That's why you should learn how to cook real foods.Your mom won't be in here sooner or later cooking for you"dad interrupted

Sooner or later?What does he mean by that? Is mom planning to go somewhere?

"Honey..please,." Mom begged dad,

"You should tell her before I do" dad said, wiping his mouth with a table napkin before leaving the kitchen

"Mom?what does dad mean?Are you going somewhere?" I asked

"A-actually,Your dad and I was planning to visit your grandmother for a month.We'll be leaving today.Y-your grandma was sick and I need to look after her for a while" she said avoiding my gaze.Lies.It's all clearly a bunch of lies..

"Can I go with you?I don't wanna be left here all alone" I asked,observing her reactions

"No!" She yelled, "I mean,No baby..You can't miss your classes.Don't worry we'll be back after a month",she assured me

"But why does dad had to go with you too? Can't I just really come along with you and dad?" I asked trying to sound pitiful

"No baby,I'm sorry...But don't worry,It's just a month.Look after yourself and promise me you'll gonna take care of yourself while I'm gone okay?"Mom lectured

"Okay mom,I promise. But promise me you'll come back after a month okay?" I agreed

"I promise baby,I promise." she sighed,

Mom hugged me tightly like it was gonna be the last time she'll gonna do so.She silently shed a tears when I hugged her tightly like she did.A strange feeling crept into my system as she continued hugging me and whispered..

"I love you baby,Take care"

It's been an hour since dad and mom left me and I was now currently in front of their room trying to unlocked the door.I need to know what's going on and I'm sure I'll find something inside their room that could explain everything.

I tried opening the door using the spare keys we had but their room's spare key was not in there.That made them more suspicious. They were really hiding something.I tried using hairpins and such but none of it worked out. I thought of smashing the knob with a vase or a hammer but I don't think It will worked out either.My mind was busy thinking of anything that could open the door when the doorbell ranged.
