"I love you, Friday!" I heard Landon shout all the way from his bedroom.

I couldn't help but to laugh at his early in the morning outburst.

I got out of bed, got ready and then headed downstairs.

"G'morning guys." I said as I walked into the kitchen. I walked over to the counter and stared at the amazing breakfast food right in front of me.

"Go ahead and dig in." says Mrs. Rhodes.

"Okay." I said and took a fork and forked it in a piece of waffe. I took a bite and smiled, "Yum."

"Wow, something smells good." I heard Landon say at the table.

"You seem very happy about something." says Mrs. Rhodes.

"Well, it's a Friday. Best day of the week." he replies as he took an apple from the counter.

"I heard you shout 'I love you, Friday!' really loudly." I said.

"I was that loud?" he asks.

"Yup. Loud enough to make me wanna throw a rock at you." I said.

"Pig." I heard him mummble.

"Don't make me stab a fork into your flesh!" I warned, waving my fork around.

"Don't make me pull it out and stab you next!" he says back.

"You two need to stop with this fussing." says Mrs. Rhodes.

"Yeah, Skye. Stop fussing. You're starting to ruin my positive mood." he says.

"You---"

"You two should head to school or else you'll be late." she says, interrupting me.

"Fine." Landon and I both groaned.

We headed to the front door and as I put on my sneakers, Landon bumps into me, causing me to fall to the floor.

"Landon!" I shouted and slapped his leg with my left shoe.

"Ooops." he said, snickering.

"Ooops." I mimicked and got up. I put on my other shoe and opened the door.

We walked out and headed towards Landon's car.

"I still hate you." I said to him.

"I still hate you too." he said back.

We got in the car and as Landon turned on the engines, I asked, "Who's coming over today?"

"I told you, it's a surprise." he said as he heads out of the driveway.

"Awwww. I hate waiting for surprises." I complained.

"It won't be a surprise anymore if I told you now." he said.

"Right..." I mummbled.

When we got to school, as usual, Tanner and Darcy was waiting for me at the back parking lot.

"OH SKYE!" shouts Darcy and hugs me as I got out of the car.

"Darcy...what the hell?" I said.

"I heard you broke up with you-know-who." she said, letting me go.

"Wait, how do you kno---" before I could finish the sentence, I looked at Landon and glared at him.

"What?" he asks.

"You told them didn't you?" I said.

"Well, they're your friends. It's not like I told the whole entire school or town." he said.

"Oh Landon." I said, disappointedly.

"I can't believe he wasn't the one for you. I thought you two looked cute together." says Darcy.

"I picked the wrong one." I said, "And I thought the same thing too."

"Poor Skye. I know you'll find another dude." says Tanner.

"Thanks. But I just wanna take a break with this dating stuff." I replied.

"That's a great idea." says Darcy.

We got in the school and started our typical regular day.
