Chapter 20: Sleepover

Me and Chloe go to the supermarket to buy some snacks for the sleepover while Emily was on the phone.

"Waffles??" I say while looking at the price tag

"Yeah" Chloe and Emily say

"Pringles??" I ask

"Yep" Chloe says

"Noooooo" Emily yells

"Why??" I ask

"It's too salty and crispy" Ella yells

"But it's tasty" Chloe says

"If you guys buy it, you finish it all by yourselves" Ella said with crossed hands I am sure

"Fine" I say

"Cool with me" Chloe says

"Hey you guys are supposed to feel guilty after that" Emily yells

"You are the most childish person I have ever met, you know that right??" I say while laughing

"Whatever" Emily says

After hours of shopping and listening to Emily's screams from the phone over awful snacks. We finally get home and got a big blanket and sat comfortably. Our snacks and sodas beside us.

"Remind me why we are watching a horror movie??" I say

I hated horror movies, ok maybe not all. I actually can watch them but with a lot of screams. I always know who is gonna die at the end but I still get scared. I watched Ananconda and was laughing at some point. I mean you made a monster and now it's eating your head off. Hilarious.

"Because of Chloe" Emily mutters

"Hey I think it's fun" Chloe defends

"Watching blood splattered over the ground and people with deep cuts in their heads dragging themselves on the ground, seriously Chloe??" I say

"No this isn't that bad" Chloe says

"What's the name??" Emily asks

"IT" Chloe says while smiling evilly

"Gosh!!! I have heard of that movie all over school" I say

"Yep, now we are gonna watch it" Chloe says with a smirk

"Is this a good idea Asher??" Ella says looking scared already

"Let's find out" I say looking equally scared

Chloe goes to Netflix and starts roaming around, while I checked the time. 5:30pm, my clock beeped. I relaxed in my chair. I am grounded but I am having a sleepover. Thankfully, my parents were coming back tomorrow. So I was okay but I wasn't gonna do crazy stuff. I am not like that.

The movie starts and everything seemed good until a scene played where a boy extends his hand towards the clown to get his toy. Only for the clown to grab his hand and open his wide scary teeth that looked like claws to rip the boy apart.

Me, Chloe and Emily scream, I pick up the popcorn pack and begin to breath into it. That really helped. We continue the movie but after some time I notice Chloe wasn't paying attention. I see her phone on chatting with someone. She was smiling and twisting her hair while chatting.

"Chloe what are you doing?? You are missing out" I whisper

"Sorry I was talking to Daniel" Chloe says

"Well no phones and what did he want anyways"

"To know what I was doing"

"I would have teased about how cute you guys are but it's movie time" I say while raising my eyebrow. She drops her phone reluctantly

"It's not fair that you can do that" She says trying to raise her eyebrow

I chuckle. We continue watching and after many screaming and shouting. We finally finish the movie.

"That was one of the scariest movies I have ever watched" Emily says

"Me too" I say

"It killed children and then it......"

Chloe couldn't finish talking when we heard a knock on the door, we all froze and looked at each other. Our breathing fast, a knock wasn't really the best thing right now. I mean after watching a horror movie. Then we heard;

Pennywise the dancing clown

Red balloons hovering over the window and then there was whistling. Somebody tell me this isn't happening right now. We just watched the movie and he is here to get us. I hope he doesn't eat smart people, I mean my head is full of information. It might taste bitter.

"Guys what's happening??" Emily murmurs

"Hurry!! Let's go upstairs" I murmur

We run upstairs and hide inside my closet. Thank God there was little space in here. We hear the door open downstairs and my heart immediately sinks. So this is how I am gonna die, with my best friends in a closet.

"I am sorry guys, I shouldn't have made you watch IT" Chloe says tears forming in her eyes

"Don't worry girl it's not time to be sorry" Emily says

"Yeah and even if we die we die together right" I say while smiling almost crying

They nod and we hear the footsteps get closer. We hold each other's hands tightly. Shutting our eyes tightly.

"Asher I am sorry that I posted a video of you dancing to Yummy" Chloe says

"You what??" I whisper shout

"I am sorry but it had over a million votes" Chloe adds

"Wait are you serious, over a million votes" I say

"Yeah and a lot of comments from guys" Chloe says with a wink

"Guys not the time" Emily says

"Yeah we are about to die" I say

I thought about everything and I thought we could overcome this. It's just some freaking clown, we are gonna beat it up. And in the movie the kids who weren't scared survived.

"Nope we aren't dying today" I say while standing up

"What are you saying?? The god damn clown is in the house" Chloe whisper shouts

"If we aren't scared we can do this, we can defeat it. We are besties and plus we can overpower it. Who's with me??" I say while raising my hand

"Me" Chloe and Emily say at the same time

We walk out of the room and noticed shadows in the living room. We switch off the lights and run around swinging punches and kicks. I am sure I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine. After we were sure we had giving it a good beating.

We switched on the lights expecting to see Pennywise on the floor. Only to see Daniel, Mike and a guy that was probably part of the football team groaning of pain on the ground.

Hey guys, I wanted to write this. You can call it a filler chapter but nah every moment matters. Who thinks it's so hilarious how the boys crashed their sleepover?? I have always wanted to have that experience but since I haven't. My babies should have a feel.
