there's no love in my house
Though you could word it plenty of ways and try to flip it around and find some I promise you there's no real interest in one another when it comes to my family

my home has always had a malicious vibe to it
as much as I love my dad he hasn't always been — how do I put this in simple terms well the nicest. Which is the best way I myself can put it. I know he loves us but the way he shows it is just so different it's almost ignored in my house because we're all so used to it. We don't talk about it and try our best to bury it down until splat it pops back up out of no where at dinner.

I still love him— my father. If you asked me why i'm not exactly sure I could give you a respectable answer but I do know what he installed in me and I know he wants the best for us — for me. Like I was told when I was little what is love without a little pain. Or in my fathers words; Pain is what makes tough love tough.

Honestly Im a bit scared today is the first day of school for me though it's just a regular day for my brother. It's always seemed to me like my dad was ashamed of me almost like he wanted to keep me hidden so, I didn't ruin anything for him or even the family but today i've been allowed to go out. Today is the day i've been allowed to go to school.

" yes y/n what do you wa-" Shotos voice stopped as he looked to the floor eyes made up in confusion. He never knew how to deal with you when you were like this and what didn't make It easier is that you weren't around like he wished you could be. So he was trying his best as he stuttered out his questions hands resting in his pockets but face stoic as he spoke
" um uh what's wrong y/n why are you ? why are you sitting on the floor ?"

Shoto has always been seen to others as stoic with no emotion , or oblivious to the world around him but he's actually really smart. He hides it all under a facade it started out with him really being clueless about how to act and what things meant but as it kept going and he noticed how people looked at him
differently . He held up the facade more so for 'research' as he said himself. One thing that only proved his intelligence was his ability to figure out your emotions without you telling him you couldn't hide anything from him it just wasn't possible. He always explained to you that there's no way to hide what shouldn't be there.

" no i'm just exhausted he had me up at 4 in the morning for training. I'm just scared of what the people at your school will think of me coming in looking sleepy " you sighed eyes darting around the floor "and just I — I look disgusting 'ro like

You could tell even if it wasn't from his face you could tell by how his body moved that he was a bit uncomfortable with several things youd said.

Personally he never understood how you were never mad at the number two hero. He— himself had been upset — no no pissed off with endeavor since birth so why is it so hard for you to
feel one emotion?

All you had to say was ' fuck off ' and let it go plus you were of age now just like him so ?

He almost felt pity for you when he would see you just take a punishment and suck it up anytime he degraded you after a mistake like it was normal— a ritual in your daily life. The thing that made it worse for him was that you'd been dealing with it your whole childhood with no breaks.
