Chapter 51- Hueningkai

Hueningkai's POV

Hueningkai pursed his lips.

Where is Soobin hyung?

Kai was still sitting in the same spot. The same place where Soobin complimented him.

It's been a while since he ran after Yeonjun....

Hueningkai pouted.

Lately Soobin has been looking at Yeonjun hyung a lot. I'm not that dumb, Soobin obviously has taken a liking to him. I mean I'm glad that he's being around new people, but sometimes I feel abandoned.

Lonely.

Soobin is like my brother, my only close friend. Taehyun seems like he isn't telling me something, Beomgyu keeps on looking around at everyone as if he is insecure, Yeonjun seems lost.

Everyone is hiding something from one another. Even me! I'm hiding a lot of things, but it's for their own good. Everyone shouldn't be worrying about me.

Soobin is the only one who fully understands me.

But now he is focusing on someone else.

Yeonjun.

Hueningkai sighed out loud.

Why didn't Soobin tell me that he likes Yeonjun? What happened to telling each other everything??

I mean I also broke that rule, so never mind....

I miss you Soobin hyung.

I miss the long days when we would joke around.

I miss the days when we would go to the store and buy a ton of stuff for each other.

I miss teasing you about your bread obsession.

I miss your presence.

Hueningkai could feel that familiar feeling of hopelessness swallowing him. He hated feeling hopeless, but he couldn't help it.

Small tears started to prick at the corner of Kai's eyes. His vision was slowly getting blurred by his own tears.

Kai got up and left the room, not bothered to check if anyone was worried about where he was going.

They probably don't care about me.

Kai held back a sob. He continued to walk away from everyone. He just wanted to be alone for sometime.

Finally Hueningkai found a seemingly empty room. He slowly closed and locked the door.

Then he let it all out.

Why am I like this??

I haven't cried in a long time, so what happened now?

I thought I was doing great for once!

Hueningkai buried his head into his hands, causing his hair to scatter everywhere across his palms.

He quietly sobbed, so that no one outside heard him. He didn't want anyone to worry about him.

While looking down, Kai suddenly saw the outline of something in his hoodie pocket.

His eyes widened.

Kai reached for the object in his hoodie.

The familiar blade glinted in the Hueningkai's hand.

It's been so long since I touched this blade. Should I do it?

Hueningkai let out a strangled breath.
