walking down 29th and park
i saw you in another's arms
only a month we'd been apart

i was going on a daily stroll through the town. looking for something to buy for midsummers. that's when i saw y/n, in jj maybank's arms, getting ice cream. it had only been a month since we separated, but she looks a lot happier.

flashback

"rafe stop you're scaring me!"

"you cheated didn't you!?"

"no of course not rafe, kelce is my friend. i love you."

"i hate you y/n! i hate you! never come back to figure 8 again!" i yelled, my hand raising.

"this is over. get out!" she pointed to the door.

i left angrily and sped off on my motorbike.

saw you walk inside a bar
said something to make you laugh
saw that your smiles were twice as wide as ours, yeah you look happier, you do.

they walked inside, presumably to order and jj said something to make her laugh. he laughed at her laugh causing them to grin uncontrollably.

she looked over to me for a split second and her face dropped. i smiled and gave her a wave before she grabbed jj's hand and left. he was confused but followed anyways. they got in his ute and drove off.

that was the last time i ever saw y/n y/l/n.
