Having to watch all the people in the ball dance with their loved ones made you realize just how draining your situation is.

Being forced in a marriage you didn't want for the selfish gain of your parents has gave you a certain amount of despair. Did they give birth to a child? Or a slave?

This marriage alone was dreadful considering you didn't know the man but not only that, you were separated with your partner of 4 years, not being able to do anything about it.

Your eyes trailed over your so called husband as he strided away from you and towards the other end of the hall, standing beside his parted loved one.

"Please understand that I was also forced in this relationship. I'd like to cherish my current partner so I hope you'd understand my situation since you are also in this mess." he told me. Despite not knowing him, I knew from that conversation alone that he was a kind man.

I had agreed knowing that he has genuine feelings for his partner. He only wanted to love and this marriage was holding him back from doing it. I understand that feeling all too well.

"A penny for your thoughts?" stated a raspy voice and I flinched, facing the side only for the tip of my nose to hit his.

"Yoongi...." you whispered, baffled over his sudden appearance. He was bending down to match your eyesight. "You... Why are you here—"

He sat on the chair beside me, "So what were you thinking so deeply about?" he grinned, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. "You look like you're so troubled."

"I am." you replied. "I... wanted to see you." Seeing as he avoided the previous question, you decided to stay quiet about it.

He giggled. "Well now that you did, why don't you replace that frown with a smile, hm?" he smiled.

You sighed. "This isn't enough yoongi. I want to... embrace you."

He smiled, presenting his open hand and whispering, "Would you mind coming with me then?"

"An empty hall?" you questioned. Yoongi nodded, holding your hand tightly and taking you to the middle of the empty hall. "Yoongi...?"

"Ah! I don't have a speaker neither did I bring my phone..." he trailed off. "I'll just... hum for us then." he chuckled.

Taking your other hand and preparing yourselves for a dance, he began humming a tone only he knew.

Tears brimmed your eyes, leaning your forehead over his chest, hearing the calm rhythm of his heart. He continued humming as both yours and his bodies matched the rhythm of the tune.

"I'm sorry I couldn't dance with you at the main hall. I couldn't risk getting caught." he whispered. "Is this.... okay with you?"

"This is more than enough yoongi." you whispered, tears falling off your eyes. "Say, why is it always me?"

He silently questioned your statement, waiting for your answer.

"Why am I always the one crying?" you said, lifting your head up to see his puzzled face. "I want you to be more expressive yoongi. If you're hurting I want you to tell me okay? I know you are—"

He cut me off by placing his lips over mine. As I widened my eyes over shock, tears began rolling off his eyes.

Our lips parted but his tears didn't stop. Despite that, he wore a genuine smile on his lips, whispering," I really do love you."

You giggled, tears also falling off your eyes. "You're just realizing that now? You've been inlove with me for the past 4 years yoongi."

"And I'll love you for the rest of me life." he whispered.

You smiled, "Yeah.... me too."

You buried your neck on the nape of his neck, both of you breaking down but still moving both your bodies to the faint tune yoongi was humming.
