Part 1

"You can't be a hero."

That is all Izuku could hear.

Everything after that began with nothing but pure buzzing.

He watched as the number one hero left the rooftop leaving him alone.

The young teen could just leave the rooftop but in truth, he didn't feel like he could leave now.

Everything was telling him to remain within the roof.

He looked at his journal seeing everything which he wrote down.

All the information about the quirks and their heroes.

He looked at the autograph given to him by the hero, one of the greatest heroes in existence.

As he looked at it he couldn't believe it after what he heard.

Everything after the signature wasn't favorable to him.

And worse it came from the hero that he idolized, the hero of the greatest society.

Before he heard that the young boy wished that the response would be different, you could be a hero, the phrase which would be wanted.

The green-haired boy couldn't believe it.

No one believed in him, not his friends, not his mom, not even his hero.

They all don't believe in him, and all might be the final straw.

Beginning with that doctor meeting, losing faith in everyone around him, and it was his hero who broke his dream.

"Jump off a rooftop, maybe you'll get a quirk in your next life."

A phrase is given to him by who he saw as his best friend.

A best friend who didn't even believe in him only saw him as an inferior lifeform that would be useless.

He even called him that, Deku

He was nothing but a useless boy who wasn't even liked by anyone.

Everyone he had met didn't like him upon finding out he was quirkless.

Within a world which was 80% of a quirk population with a low percentage which will continue to decrease further and further with time.

Soon Deku knew that quirks would be given to everyone, except he wasn't born at that time.

Thinking back to the phrase which was given to him, he wondered if he should jump.

He sometimes wonders what would have happened if he did it someday.

Who would miss him?

His mother definitely but aside from her, who else?

Bakugo always told him to do it.

Kacchan even burned his hero journal.

So why not do it?

Why not end his life?

His hero already left him in the building before he left.

So he was nearly half done.

He was on top of a building.

He had his journal on him.

He even believed in contacting his mom to leave a final call.

He didn't want her to worry.

So he would do it first.

Besides even if he did or didn't call her she would learn much.

Someone would quickly tell her after his body was discovered.

The only one who truly cared about her.

There were tears in his eyes, "I'm sorry mom."

He held his journal in his hand and took a step off.

The only issue was that he didn't pass so easily.

He could feel the air and quickly fell to the concrete, falling to the hard wall.

His body quickly fell warm telling him what was occurring.

Deku could feel his body was struggling to remain alive, that is something human bodies desire, to remain alive.

He wished it would be quick but he didn't like what was occurring within his own body.

And with that, he saw someone walk near him taking the journal on the floor.

The figure then looked at the young teen, he could notice that he was weirdly unseeable but shadowy.

He didn't know what was occurring within the mind of this figure but he saw as he open the journal, and began to read the book.

And with that Izuku fell into unconsciousness before he could see next.
