🎄 A PUPPY?!?! (Jordan Nobbs x Reader)

Request: could you do a jordan nobbs one where the reader gets her a puppy for Christmas if that's ok?

Jordan woke up with an empty bed, her girlfriend beside her just missing from beside her. The midfielder at up and rubbed her eyes to scan her surroundings. She looked at the clock to see that it was just 7 in the morning.

Y/n has been acting weird the past few days and it was unusual for her to be up this early so Jordan really knew something was up.  

Y/n was in her winter clothes, a thick winter fur coat, brown fur boots, black leggings, Jordan's white linonesses scarf, a red Christmas mask and an arsenal beanie. She let out a shakey breath and hung her coat on the coat rack and took off the scarf.

She was holding a brown envelope and Jordan watched curiously as her girlfriend started making under her breath about something she could not understand. Y/n looked up and nearly fell when she saw Jordan sitting there on the couch, just watching her intently.

"Where were you?" Jordan asked curiously.

Y/n looked at her wide eyes and silently cursed at herself because she was not a great liar and they both knew that. Before she could even say anything, her phone rang. She looked down at her phone and saw Leah calling her.

She thanked the defender is j her mind before giving Jordan an apologetic look. "I'm sorry I have to take this. We'll talk about this later okay? I love you."

Y/n leaned in to give Jordan a peck on the lips before going out to the garden to talk to her teammate.

"Did you go to the animal adoption place?"

"Yeah, do you think she will like it?" Y/n asked while fidgeting with the ends of her shirt.

"Of course she will, who doesn't want a puppy?"

"I could think of a few people."

"Shut up Y/n, she will love it."

While she was outside, Jordan just stayed by the door as she watched her girlfriend pace around, feeling more curious than ever.

It's Christmas Eve and the first ever Christmas that Y/n and Jordan are spending as a couple. They were still in quarantine and they were not able to fly back to their families. They didn't mind though, because they knew they had each other but Jordan was still skeptical of her girlfriend. She had been jumpy and secret-y and she didn't like it.

They snuggled beside each other by the small fireplace of the small rental home that they share in London, sipping on a mug of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows and whipped cream, soft acoustic Christmas instrumentals playing in the background as they enjoyed each other's company.

Y/n couldn't help but look at the girl beside her adoringly as they slowly swayed to the background music.

"Do you want to have a family in the future?"

Jordan couldn't help but straighten up a little when she heard the question. She glanced up at her girlfriend I thought before nodding. "As long as it's with you though."

They smiled at each other before connecting their lips together. They pulled away, resting their foreheads against one another until Jordan decided to follow up with her answer.

"Maybe let's just start off with getting a pet though, I don't think having a child is a good idea at the moment."

"Oh don't worry, a big perk of being in a relationship with me is that I can't accidentally get you pregnant so we could go at it all... day... long..."
