"Please! Don't leave me." I screamed as he stormed to the door, grabbing the handle threateningly. "I need you."
"If you need me so much you wouldn't be running off with strangers each night to fill a void in your life. If you needed me, I would be enough." he was fuming with anger. "I can't stand to see you hurt so much, that's why I have to leave. It's for the best."
He opened the door, stepping beside to nod one last goodbye, but I was up in a flash. I ran to the other side of the room to grab his wrist and prevent him from leaving.
"Stay." I pleaded, my eyes filling with tears." Hear me out. At least listen to what I have to say."
He crossed his arms over his chest as if to say I'm waiting and began to impatiently tap his foot.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm my shaking. I know this wouldn’t be easy to say, but it had to be done.
