Standing in the center of nothingness, Ni-ki's anxious heart palpitated as deafening silence surrounded him.

He closed his eyes shut to drown out the sound of the rapid beating of his heart but his focus was only disrupted as he felt his feet touch an earthy surface.

Opening his eyes again, he now stood at the top of a grass-filled cliff, staring at the stars above him as the whole galaxy surrounded his presence.

"Don't be afraid to open your heart again Ni-ki, there are people around you who are willing to love you,"

Ni-ki spun around to detect the sudden voice that interrupted his peace. There, stood 5 feet apart, was a girl with her hair styled in space buns. Funnily enough, Ni-ki felt like he was accompanied by the Korean version of Princess Leia from Star Wars.

The silver streaks in her hair captivated Ni-ki even more as he stared in awe at the girl. She looked around his age, her youthful complexion evident.

Before Ni-ki could respond, the irritating ringing sound of his alarm resonated as his eyes shot open.

"I hate school," Ni-ki groaned before hiding underneath his blankets.

"Last night, I dreamt I was on a planet with a girl," Ni-ki confessed to Sunoo in their club's room.

Sunoo squealed before jumping on top of Niki's table, crossing his legs as he urged Ni-ki to continue sharing.

"She told me not to be scared of opening up to anyone," Ni-ki said, resting his chin on the palm of his hand.

"Maybe it's a sign? Or maybe it's your intuition telling you to put yourself out in the world," Sunoo suggested but Ni-ki only groaned.

"I already have you as my friend, I don't wanna put myself out in the world anymore," Ni-ki grumbled, feeling himself succumb to fatigue.

"He's got a soulmate alright," Sunoo uttered to himself.
