Antonella Sky: Sam's mum.

Brad: Sam's ex boyfriend that is mentioned a few times across the story.

Emma Moon a.k.a Em: Sam's best friends since the day they met.

Nico: Sam's friend from university and lab partner in Zoology class.

Julia: Nico's friend they run into at uni.

Miguel a.k.a Mike: Hot bartender from the bar Constellations, who flirts with Emma.

Dr. Menendez: Zoology lab professor.

Morris Tutaki: Sam's father. 

Lucas: Flight attendant from their flight from Buenos Aires to Dubai.

Tane: Guy they run into as soon as they get to New Zealand, who they travel with.
