It was Saturday, so, weekend. You laid in bed as you scrolled through your phone, laughing at people's tweets. you hadn't heard from Kuroo ever since you left his house earlier this week and you didn't feel like he was going to tell you if you asked him what was wrong. So, you decided to let it slide, for now. Kuroo acted completely normal the next day, so you just assumed everything was fine.

You rolled over onto your stomach as you crossed your legs in the air and rested your head on your hand. Fingers curled up against your lips, you sighed. You didn't have anything planned today, meaning it was going to be a boring Saturday. After about thirty minutes of mindlessly scrolling through you finally force yourself out of bed, not wanting to waste your time in your dark bedroom.

You got out of bed, walking to the bathroom and changing your clothes. You turned on the shower and just as you were about to get drenched in the warm water, your phone ringed. You huffed as you picked up, not reading the caller ID first.

''Hi?''

''Hey, shorty''

''Oh, Kuroo. Hey, what's up?'' you said and brought your hand to your mouth, biting your nails out of habit. You leaned on one leg and you put your hand on your hip, waiting for him to tell you the reason for his call.

''It's nice how your voice is the first thing I hear this morning,'' he said with a raspy voice, meaning he probably just woke up. Your cheeks heated up because of his sly comment. You couldn't help but smile, but he didn't have to know that. Luckily you two were calling or else he would probably tease you again.

''Mhm,'' you hummed, ''get to the point Tetsurou. Why are you calling me?''

''Huh? Calling me by my first name, huh?'' he chuckled and you could picture the grin on his face right now. Your already blushing cheeks got even redder as you started to feel embarrassed. You were about to save yourself, but he already continued talking. ''I'm calling you because you forgot your bag at my home, shorty.''

''Shit,'' you whisper. You probably left it at his house, because his mother startled you. ''I'm so stupid.''

''Not really. Just come to my house and pick it up.''

''Yeah, I'll take a shower and then go to your house.''

''A shower. I would-''

''Bye, Kuroo,'' you sighed and hung up, not wanting to hear what he was about to say. You smile to yourself as you put your phone away and step into the warm shower. The heat of the water drops hitting your skin always relaxed you. After your shower you quickly put on some clothes, not bothering to put on any makeup.

You sighed as you looked at yourself in the mirror, checking if you didn't look too horrendous, which you didn't. You texted Kuroo, telling him you were on your way. You ran down the stairs and said goodbye to your parents before leaving the house. The chilly autumn air was hitting your face as you kicked away pinecones on the road.

Kuroo didn't live too far away from you. It was about a ten-minute walk from your home. When you finally arrived at his house, you knocked on his door about three times. The door swung open, revealing Kuroo with his hair messier than usual. He wore grey sweatpants and a baggy black sweater, which showed his collarbones. You bit your bottom lip as you tried to suppress your thoughts about him. He looked very, very hot and you hated to admit it.

''Hi,'' you breathed out, your cheeks slowly turning a soft shade of pink. Kuroo noticed it, but decided not to say anything about it, he only slightly raised his brow. ''So, my bag?'' you said as you started to moved around awkwardly.

''Why are you always so awkward, almost shy'' he chuckled as he somewhat narrowed his eyes at you. A tiny smile was on his face. Whenever you two are alone together you always tended to act a little shy, which he thought was incredibly cute.

''I'm not!'' you defended yourself, putting one arm over the other in front of your chest as you tried to come off more confident. He sighed as he leaned against the door opening with his arm above his head. His sweater rose to a certain extent, showing his V-line again. Your eyes went from his stomach to his face within a second before you quickly looked away. You knew he was doing this on purpose now. You didn't mind the view he was providing you, but you hated how he would always do it out of nowhere. Just to catch you off guard.

''Come in,'' he said as he moved his head, signalling you to enter his house, ''my mom isn't home. Don't worry.''

You nodded and followed him. ''I'm sorry she made it so awkward last time you came here. You must have felt uncomfortable.''

''Oh, it's fine. I didn't feel uncomfortable,'' you lied. You hated it when there was an awkward tension lingering in a room, but it would probably upset Kuroo if you told him you felt uncomfortable. Which he would never admit.

''Have you had breakfast yet?'' he questioned and you shook your head.

''No, not yet. I was planning to eat something after I got my bag'' you admitted not planning to spend a long time with him. His smile dropped a little, obviously disappointed you didn't think of spending more time with him today.

''We could get some together?'' he suggested and you thought about his offer for a second. You didn't look too great since all you did was take a shower, your hair was a bit wet still. You stared into Kuroo's cat-like eyes and nodded.

''Yes, that would be fun''

''A date it is!''

''What? I never agreed on going on a date with you!'' you rolled your eyes playfully and he stepped closer to you. You moved your head to look up, meeting his eyes and he grinned at you.

''Please?'' he smiled and the blush returned on your cheeks. You clicked your tongue as you rolled your eyes again.

''Fine, whatever. Sure, a date.''

''Yay!'' he said as he threw his arms up in the air.
