Carlos made his way down to the dungeons. He walked towards the cell where he had locked up Hades and Uma. He leaned against the bars, arms above his head, as he smirked at them. "How are my two favorite people." He asked them. Hades snapped his head towards Carlos.
He stood up from his seat and walked towards the bars, but not touching them. "Where are my daughter and grand-daughter?" He asked him. Carlos chuckled.
"They're doing fine, but someone else isn't." He smirked. "We don't want to know," Uma informs him as she sat in the shadows. "Oh, I think you do," Carlos tells her enthusiastically.
Uma glared at him. She stood up from her seat and walked up to the bars. She pushed hades aside and wrapped her hands around the bars. "Come on, captain, aren't you a little curious?" He asked her. "I don't care, even spelled you're too soft to actually hurt anyone." She tells him.
"You think so?" He asked her and licked his lips. "I do." She tells him, "So why don't you go back up there and bother someone else." She adds. Carlos smirked at her. "That's the girl I was looking for. See that's what I like." He smirked at her. Uma let go of the bars and walked back towards the shadows. "We found someone outside the gates tonight." He tells them, "A girl." He added. He puts his arms through the bars.
"Gaye," he tells them. Uma turned around and walked back towards Carlos. "What did you do?" She asked him. He shrugged." I thought you didn't care." He reminds her. She glared at him. "I put a knife into her back, and let her bleed to death," he tells her. "I don't believe you," Uma tells him.
Carlos chuckled. "I thought you might say that." He said, "It's true though." He added and holds out the bloody knife. "Why would I lie? I barely know that kid." He asked her. Uma's legs weakened. She was about to collapse to the floor when Hades caught her. Carlos's eyes turned red again.
"Poor girl knew too much." He explained. "So you killed her?" Uma snapped at him. "Indeed I did. There was no use for her anyway." He tells her. "If Mal finds out about this-" "She won't! That's the fun part." He tells her. Uma stood up again and grabbed the bars with her hands.
"You won't get away with this. You will pay for this." Uma tells him. "And who's going to make me pay? You?" He chuckled and stepped away from the bars. "Don't worry, I'll take good care of the rest, especially Melanie." He tells them.
Hades glares at him. "Hurt her, and I will show you what a god can do. And trust me, you don't want to mess with the god of the underworld." Hades warned the boy. "Looking forward to it," Carlos said and walked away. Uma slammed her hand against the bars before walking further into her cell. She paced around for a while. "He was only talking about Gaye, right?" Uma asked Hades. He nodded slowly.
"That means Harry and Gil are still out there. When Uma glanced at the floor, she saw the knife Carlos was showing earlier. She bends down and picks it up. She quickly moves to the door and gets on her knees. "What are you doing?" Hades asks her. "Harry taught me a trick when we were kids." She said and moved the knife in the keyhole. Hades sighed.
"And how are you so sure it will work?" He asked her. That's when the door popped open. Uma smirked at Hades. "Because it always does." She tells him. She got out of the cell, but when Hades was about to walk through she closed it again.
"What the hell?!" Hades yelled at her. "You have to stay here so he won't notice that I'm gone," Uma tells him.
"Let me out, Uma!" He slammed against the bars. "I will come back for you, I promise," Uma says. Hades grabs the bars tightly. "And I should believe that?" He asked her.
"I'm not asking you to believe me. I'm asking you to trust me." She tells him. Hades groaned. "Ugh! Fine." He said. Uma was about to sneak away when he grabbed her arm.
"Uma, wait...be careful." He tells her. Uma nods and sneaks away leaving Hades behind in his cell.

Meanwhile, Mal sat in Melanie's room. Mal was brushing her daughter's hair as she quietly hummed a song. "Mommy?" Melanie interrupted her. "Yeah?" Mal asked her. Melanie turned around to look at her mother in the eyes.
"Mommy, I'm worried." The little girl tells her mother. "What's up, little nasty?" Mal asked her daughter. Melanie hugged her plushie. "Daddy scares me." She tells her mother. Mal pulled her daughter closer and set her down on her lap. "Daddy scares you? What do you mean? Did he scratch his butt again?" Mal asks her daughter jokingly. Melanie shook her head.
"His eyes were red, Mommy. They were glowing." Melanie explains. Mal smiled at the little girl. "You probably dreamt it, honey." She tells the girl. But Melanie shook her head. "No, Mommy, it wasn't a dream. I swear it wasn't!" Melanie said. Mal kissed her daughter's forehead.
"You have a wonderful imagination, honey, but it's bedtime," Mal tells her. She tucked her daughter in and kissed her forehead. "Evil dreams." She said. "Evil dreams," Melanie mumbled. Mal sighed and stood up. She turned off the lights and closed the door. Dude jumped on her bed and lied next to her.
"Red eyes?" He asked the girl.
Melanie sat up straight and petted the dog. "I know what I saw. It was not a dream. There is something wrong with Daddy. And I am going to find out what it is!" She said bravely. Dude chuckled and puts his paw against her forehead. "Okay, but first you need sleep. Evil dreams." He tells her. "Evil dreams," Melanie replied and closed her eyes as she hugged her plushie tightly.
