Mal's eyes slowly fluttered open. "Aye! She's waking up!" She heard Harry say. She soon saw him towering over her. He had a slight smile on his face. "Hey, sleeping beauty." He joked. Mal smiled at him. "Hey." She replied. He helped her sit up straight on the bed. "What happened?" She asked Harry. "You were under some nightmare spell, but your father managed to get you out of it." He tells her. Hades walked into the room. "Dad!" Mal said. Hades ran towards his daughter and wraps his arms around her. "I'm so glad you're okay." He said as he ran his hand through her hair. Mal smiled. "Thanks to you I am." She tells him. When Mal pulled away from their hug she looked at Harry again. "Where is he?" She asked him. Harry clenched his jaw. "He's in the dungeons." He answered. "We still haven't figured out a way to break Audrey's curse," Hades informed her, "I'm sorry." He continued and rubbed Mal's back. Harry scooted closer to her. "We'll find a way to break the curse." He tells her. Mal sighed and put her head on his shoulder. "I'm sorry about Gaye." She said quietly. Harry bit his bottom lip slightly. "Worry about Carlos, not about me." He tells her, "Focus on breaking the curse." He added. "I hope we do." She said quietly. Harry wraps his arm around her. "I know we will. And if magic doesn't work, I might know another way to get that pup out." He chuckled. Mal glanced up at him and raised her eyebrow. "Jealousy, Mally." He smirked at her. Mal smiled at him. "Let's not do that." She tells him. He chuckled and holds her. That's when Uma walked in. Mal's eyes met Uma's and gave her a weak smile. Hades stood up and walked towards the sea-witch. He guided her out of the room again. Evie and Jay passed them as they ran into the room where Mal was. Evie jumped on the bed and wrapped her arms around her best friend. Mal smiled and returned the hug. "I'm so glad you're okay!" Evie exclaimed. Jay chuckled at his girlfriend and walked up to Mal giving her a slight hug as well. "It's good to see you, Dragon." He said. Mal smiled at him. "I could say the same. I'm glad you two are alright." Mal tells them. Harry stood up. "I'll give you three a moment." He said. But Mal grabbed his hand before he could leave. "You don't have to." She tells him. "Are you sure?" Harry asked her. Mal nodded making him smile.
Meanwhile, Uma and Hades walked through the halls of the castle. He pats her shoulder. "Thanks for not leaving me behind, kid." He said. "No man gets left behind." She tells him. Hades looked at her. "To be honest I was kind of shocked when you did. I thought you would leave me to rot in that cell." He tells her. Uma looked at him as well. "I could've." She tells him. "Then why didn't you?" Hades asked her. Uma shrugged. "I didn't feel like it." She tells him. The god of the underworld chuckled at her. "What?" Uma asked him. "Just...I feel like that's not the reason why you got me out." He tells her. Uma rolls her eyes at him. "Whatever. That's the reason, believe it or not." She said to him. "I don't believe that," he tells her. "Then what do you believe is the reason why I got you out?" She asked him. Hades shrugged. "Maybe because I am a father figure to you?" He asked her. Uma laughed at him. "Why would you think that?" She asked him. "You have never known your father, it's not-" Hades started. "Don't flatter yourself. I was only trying to save our asses." Uma tells him. She was about to walk away when Hades grabbed her arm. "I'm not adopting you, I'm just asking you a question." He tells her. Uma groans and rips her arm out of his grip. "Maybe I do, but what does it matter?" She asked him. Hades took a deep breath. "I want to be there for you." He tells her. She rolls her eyes at him. "I'm better off without my father...or any parental figure." She tells him. "That's what Mal said...and see how happy she is now." He tells her. Hades put his hand on her shoulder. "Why do you think I'll need you? Or a father?" She asked him. "Because your mother can't be here most of the time, and you can use someone to comfort you," Hades tells her. Uma glances at her feet. "I don't need you." She whispered. "Come here, angry girl." Hades chuckled and opened his arms. Uma sighed and wrapped her arms around him. "Are you going to adopt everyone?" Uma joked. Hades laughed at her. "I might." He tells her. Uma smiled and puts her head on his chest. "This is nice." She tells him. "Told you," Hades replied.
A while later, Carlos paced around in the cell where he had locked up Uma and Hades. He then felt someone's presence. He smirked and turned around. "Hey, princess." He said. Mal was looking at him. He leaned against the bars, arms above his head. "What are you doing here?" He asked her. "I want Carlos back." She replied. He chuckled. "He's not coming back." He tells her. "He will. I just have to get rid of you." She tells him. "See, that's why I like you. You've got fire!" He tells her, "So what are you going to do, Princess? Are you going to come in here and fuck him out?" He chuckled. Mal just glared at him. Carlos smirked at her. "Are you scared?" He asked her. Mal didn't move. She just gave him a deadly glare. "Want him back? Then get on your knees and beg for it." He tells her. Still no response from Mal. Carlos clenched his jaw and chuckled. His smile soon faded and turned into a glare. He then gripped the bars tightly. "Kneel before your king!" He yelled at her. Mal stepped closer to the bars. "I'm the one who made you king, you should be the one kneeling." She tells him. He smirked at her. "You're bad." He replied in a seductive tone. "You ain't seen nothing yet." She tells him
