It has been a couple of days now, and Carlos still hasn't made any progress. It is like he has forgotten all about their plan for her revenge. Audrey paced around the room in the cottage. She had left the castle two days ago. She couldn't stay there and wait. "Ah!" Audrey screamed and throws a glass bowl of apples against the wall. Nothing was going as she had hoped. She didn't expect the spell to have such a big impact on Carlos. She thought it would only change him a little bit, not make him a whole different person. She had been trying to undo this curse for weeks now. Nothing has worked up until now.

Meanwhile, Carlos was having the time of his life. He now sat in the throne room, which they never used, wearing the crown they never wear. He had a glass of wine in his hand as he sat on his throne. He had his legs over one armrest as he leaned against the other one. Hades walked into the throne room gaining Carlos's attention. "Hey there!" He said excitedly. Hades wasn't very excited. "What are you doing here?" Hades asked his son in law.
The white-haired boy shrugged. "Having a drink." He said and holds up his drink. Hades folds his arms over his chest. "What are you really doing here? There is something odd about you." Hades tells him. Carlos takes a sip of the wine and sets the glass down.
"I'm just enjoying my life! It's great to be king!" Carlos said happily. "That's not it. You've changed ever since you've come out of that sleep. You're asleep, cannot be awakened by any sort of magic, and you disappear to come back as some sort of-" Hades complained. "Watch your mouth, laddie, don't want to upset your king now do you?" Carlos smirked at his father in law. "I don't care what you are. You're not my king, boy. You're the guy that knocked up and married my daughter that's all." Hades tells him. "Is that so?" The young king questioned. Hades did not answer. Carlos removed his legs from the armrest and stood up.
"Speak!" He yelled at the man in front of him. He let his eyes turn red for just a slight second. "Y-you're spelled," Hades whispered. Carlos sat back in his chair and took a deep breath. "Yes I am, but I like the new me. Guards!" Carlos called. Large men in the armory surrounded Hades and grabbed him by his arms and shoulders.
"Honestly, I'm sad you figured it out, I was hoping it would be some kind of big reveal! Like, no one would expect it!" Carlos exclaimed. Hades glared at his son in law as the men who had surrounded him were holding him down. "Sadly, I have to lock you up now. Nothing personal! I just don't want you to ruin the surprise for everyone else." Carlos said,
"Especially for our precious queen. Oh, and of course, her daughter. I can't wait to see the face of a scared little girl." He added. Hades glared at the boy who sat on the throne. "You wouldn't hurt your own daughter. No one is that cruel." Hades said. Carlos suddenly appeared right in front of him. They now stood face to face with each other.
"You ain't seen nothing yet, old man." He tells him. He leaned down to Hades's ear. "And don't you worry, she won't even notice your absence. Neither will your daughter, she'll be too busy screaming the lungs out of her chest. If you know what I mean." Carlos whispered to him. This angered Hades, but he couldn't do anything.
"Take him away!" Carlos tells the guards. "You won't get away with this! Mark my words, little shit! You can't win this on your own!" Hades yelled. "That's why I've got your daughter wrapped around my finger, the Queen of Mean begging for my attention, and the sea witch...well let's just say I offered her a deal she could not say no to." He tells him.
Hades continued to glare at the boy. "Don't worry, you'll be having a lot of rats to keep you company in your cell. Have fun!" He called after Hades. Carlos slowly made his way over to his throne. He sat down again, putting his legs over the armrest again. "How did that song go again?" He asked himself.
"Oh right! If there's one God you don't want to get steamed up It's Hades, 'cause he had an evil plan. He ran the Underworld but thought the dead were dull and uncouth. He was as mean as he was ruthless, and that's the Gospel truth. He had a plan to shake things up, and that's the Gospel truth." He sang quietly o himself and smirked.
