It had been hours since Carlos had called for Uma. He and Audrey were still waiting for her to show up. While Carlos waited patiently, Audrey was starting to get bored. "Shouldn't we go back to the castle?" Audrey questioned. Carlos glared at her. "That's the tenth time you have asked me that, and my answer is still no," Carlos tells her. Audrey groaned loudly. "I am not going to sit around here for much longer. That sea-witch will come, why do we have to be here when she does?" Audrey asked him.
Carlos stepped closer to the girl next to him. "Because we have to make sure she's the one that comes here and not something else that heard us. I don't know about you, but I am not looking forward to a visit of Ursula or any other sea creature." Carlos tells her. "I still don't understand why you called for her. Couldn't you have called for anyone else?" Audrey asked him. "Like who? In case you haven't noticed, every other villain on this island is on Mal's side.
I have to get people on my side." He informed her. Audrey opened her mouth, about to speak, when the waves behind them started to get heavier. Both villains looked at the ocean and took a few steps back. Uma slowly made her way out of the water. Carlos smirked and watched as the witch walked onto land. "Melanie?" Uma whispered.
Carlos glanced over his shoulder. "Stay here." He tells Audrey and walked from behind the tree. "Melanie!" Uma called. "She's not here," Carlos tells Uma making her jump slightly. "You scared me." She tells him, "What are you doing here?" She asked. Carlos stepped closer to her which caused Uma to draw her sword and hold it out. The point of the sword pressed against his chest. Carlos holds up his hands and smiled at her.
"Weapons? I don't think that would be necessary." He tells her. "I don't know, why don't you tell me where Melanie is and I'll lower the sword," Uma tells him. Carlos shrugged. "She's in the castle, safe and sound." He tells her honestly. But Uma didn't remove her weapon. "She called me," Uma informs Carlos. The young villain chuckled. "I called you here," Carlos tells her, "I need your help." He said. "I will never help you. I know what you're up to." Uma tells him. "Do you now?" Carlos questioned her. "Why do you think I left?" "And yet here you are," Carlos said. He then grabbed the blade of Uma's weapon and ripped it out of her hands.
He chuckled at her. "Oops?" Carlos said. Uma backed up trying to escape the villain in front of her. Carlos, of course, didn't let her. He wrapped his hand around her neck. "What do you want?" Uma asked him. Carlos smiled at her. "I need your help." He said.
"Like I am ever going to help you. You're not the Carlos we know. You're a monster." Uma said. Carlos let go of Uma. "Am I? I'm just doing what I think is right, you of all people should know that." He tells her, "Let's put it this way. If you help me, I won't hurt that little princess you care about so much." Carlos tells her. "You would never hurt your own child," Uma said. "The old Carlos would never hurt her. But for as far as I'm concerned, she's not mine." The white-haired boy said. "Whatever it is, I won't do it," Uma informs her former friend. "Not even if you can hurt Mal?" Carlos said. "What?" Uma asked him.
"You might seem like you're friends but I can see that there is still an anger inside of you. I can feel it. What if I tell you, you can hurt Mal? Badly. Get back at her for everything she has ever done to you? With Mal gone, you can be the queen." He tells her. "I will not hurt her. For no money, or crown." Uma said sternly. "Not even for Melanie?" Carlos questioned. Uma was silent. "I know you want to protect her. You think Mal's way of raising her is wrong. But with Mal gone...who will stop you?" Carlos said quietly. "I'm listening," Uma said. Carlos smirked at her. "Good girl." He said.
