"So you're just going to stay here? Expecting me to 'release' him or something?" He asked Mal. "It's worth a try." She tells him. Carlos stepped away from the bars but kept looking at her. "What makes you think he's still here?" He asked her. "Audrey might've been strong, but her magic was never that powerful." She replied. "You know nothing," Carlos responded. Mal stepped closer and wrapped her hands around the iron bars. "I know more than you think. I know where she got her magic. I know Audrey was going to hurt me by taking you away from me and turning you into something you were not. I know that when she had succeeded, and I was fully broken down, she would hand me over to Auradon where they could lock me in a cell to rot away." Mal tells him. "Your greatest fear, right? Oh, I would've loved to see you break down." He said. Mal kept glaring at him. He then stepped closer again putting his hands over hers. "See the tears in your eyes, hear you cry." He continued. "Like you right now?" She asked him. He chuckled and put his hand through the bars and grabbed her face gently. "You don't have to let that happen." He tells her. His thumb slowly brushed over her cheek's skin. "After all, this is all your fault." He tells her. Mal did not respond. "Yes, yes. Everything is your fault. You know it...deep down you do." he said. Mal tried to back up, but he pulled her back. "I'll show you what it feels like." He growled at her. "I don't know what you're talking about," Mal said trying to free herself from his grip. Carlos only pulled her closer. "I think you do." He said. He then let her go. Mal quickly backed up. "You can't hurt me. The cell will weaken you." She tells him. Carlos chuckled at her. "You see, Princess, I made this prison." He said. He then pushed open the door and stepped out. "It doesn't work on me." He tells her. Mal took a few steps back again before making a run for it. Carlos ran after her. He quickly caught up with her, grabbing her arm, and pulling her back to him. He held her tightly by her arms. She was about to scream when Carlos covered her mouth.
Meanwhile, Harry leaned on the railing of the little balcony and stared at the ocean. Uma walked up to him. "Beautiful, isn't it?" He asked her. Uma nodded and looked at the view. "Very." She answered. She glanced at Harry. "Are you okay?" She asked him. He sighed and nodded slightly. "Yeah, I just...Gaye loved to look at the ocean." Harry tells her. Uma steps closer to him and puts her hand on his back. "I miss her too." She tells him. Harry glanced at her over his shoulder. "How can she still have hope? After what he did?" he asked her. "She loves him," Uma answered. "Yeah, well, I loved Gaye!" He snapped at her, "S-sorry. I shouldn't yell." He apologized quickly. Uma rubs his back slowly. "It's okay, Harry." She said. She opened her arms for him. Harry then burst into tears. He wrapped his arms around Uma. "Why did he do it?" He choked out. "Audrey had him wrapped around her finger. This wasn't his fault." Uma tells him. "I should never have left her," he whispered. Uma pulls away from their hug and puts her hands on his cheeks. "Don't say that. Hey..." She said and hugged him again. "Mal will break the curse. He won't hurt anyone else ever again." Uma tells him. "I hope she beats the living shit out of him." Harry sobbed. "I'm sure she will." She tells him.
Back in the dungeons, Carlos had pinned Mal to the wall. She let little tears roll down her cheeks. "Not so tough now huh, Princess?" He asked her. He removed his hand from her mouth. "Carlos, please." She begged. "He's not coming back!" He yelled at her. "Carlos, please, Melanie needs you. I need you. Please, come back to us." She pleaded. Carlos chuckled at her. "So desperate." He said. "Daddy?" He then heard next to him. Both Mal and Carlos snapped their heads towards the sound. Melanie stood next to them. "Daddy, what are you doing to mommy?" She asked him. "Melanie, get out of here!" Mal tells her daughter. Carlos wrapped his hand around Mal's throat while looking at the little girl. "Daddy, you're hurting mommy!" Melanie cried. "That's the point, little pup." He tells her. Melanie groans and makes her way towards him. She grabbed the back pockets of his pants and pulled him down. Her eyes were bright green, just like Mal's eyes were when she was angry. It gave her strength. She pulled Carlos off her mother. Mal gasped for air as her body hit the floor. Carlos snapped his head towards the little girl. "You little-" Carlos started. He reached to grab her when Melanie stepped closer to him. She grabbed his face. "I want my Daddy! Give me my Daddy back!" Melanie yelled at him. Carlos grabbed her. "You little shit!" He yelled at her. He was hurting Melanie with his tight grip. The little girl started to get tears in her eyes. "Daddy, you're hurting me!" She complained. "Good!" Carlos replied. Mal tried to reach for her daughter but didn't have the strength. "Melanie..." She whispered. Melanie then grabbed her father's nose. Carlos glared at her. "Get your hands off me!" He yelled at her. The little girl managed to squirm out of his grip and kissed his lips briefly. "Please, Daddy, come back to us." Melanie cried. Carlos grabbed her again. He was about to throw her into a wall when he stopped himself. Melanie's eyes slowly turned back to normal. "Puppy?" Carlos then whispered.
