Meanwhile, Audrey groaned and paced around. Chad watched from the corner "A-Audrey-" He stuttered. Audrey glared at him "What?!" She yelled. Chad shut his mouth again. Audrey walked over to him "Just because I spared you from an internal sleep
doesn't mean you're allowed to speak!" She yelled. Chad nodded and slid down against the wall. Audrey pointed her scepter at him "Maybe I should let you sleep?" She said quietly.
Chad shook his head rapidly "No?" Audrey said,
"You don't want to sleep?" She asked him.
The young prince just shook his head. Audrey backed up a little "Then be quiet." She said. He nodded and glanced down at his feet. Audrey had saved Chad when he begged her to not put him under a spell. That must've been one of the biggest mistakes
she'd made. She looked into the ember that was in the scepter "What to do, what to do?" She said. There wasn't as much progress as she thought there
would be. Why didn't things go the way she wanted them to?! She looked back at Chad and got an idea. A horrible but great idea. "Chad, I need you to do
something for me." She said. He looked up at her with fear in his eyes. Audrey laughed wickedly "It's about to get a little ugly." she said and stepped closer to the young prince. She petted his hair "You will help me, right?" She asked him. He nodded making her smirk "Good."

Back on the Isle, Uma walked onto her ship. She sighed loudly. There was no one else on the ship, it was just her. She felt bad for leaving everyone behind, but right now her life depends on it. She was not going to die because her friends wanted her to stay.
She started to sail away from the Island. She looked behind her, the Isle was in a horrible state, no matter what Mal and Carlos did. The young sea witch glanced
down at the water that brushed against her ship. "Auntie Uma?" A quiet voice said. Uma looked up making her eyes widen. Little Melanie De Vil stood there. She rushed
towards the girl "Melanie, what are you doing here? You are not supposed to be here." She tells her. The little girl looked at Uma "I wanted to surprise you." Melanie said.
Uma picked up Melanie "I really appreciate that, but you're not allowed to be on my ship on your own." Uma tells her. Melanie folds her arms over her chest "Then why are you
here alone?" She asked Uma. Uma sighs "Auntie Uma has to leave for a while. Mommy and Daddy will be safer when I'm gone." She explained. Melanie pouts "You're leaving?" She whispered. Uma sat down and sat Melanie on her lap "I'm sorry, Little one." Uma said.
"Will you come back to us?" The little girl asked. Uma brushed some hair out of her face "I might, I don't know yet. I will have to go back now because you can't come with me." She tells
Melanie. The white-haired girl pouts "But I want to stay with you." She said. Uma smiled at her "I get that, but you can't. Come on, I'll take you home." Uma said.

*Time Skip*

Uma walked back into the castle with Melanie on her arm. No one was there. Uma sat Melanie down "Now, don't come after me, okay? Auntie Uma will be fine." Uma said.
Melanie nodded and had little tears in her eyes. Uma wiped them away "Don't cry." "I don't want you to go." Melanie said. Uma pulled the little girl into a tight embrace
"I'll miss you, Little One." Uma said. "I'll miss you more." Melanie said. Uma pulled away and handed the little girl a shell "What's this?" Melanie asked her. Uma glanced
down at it "If you blow on this, I will hear it and come right back to you. I want you to keep it a secret and be very careful with it." She tells her. Melanie looked at her
"Even from Mommy and Daddy?" She asked Uma. The young sea witch nodded "Even from Mommy and Daddy. I have to go. Now, remember, only use this in case of an
emergency." Uma said. Melanie nodded and hugged Uma before she left her.
Melanie ran up to her room. She opened her secret doorway which led to secret tunnels. One of them led to a secret room where she would hide whenever there was danger.
She put the shell into a safe she'd stolen from Jafar's shop. She closed it and
lied on one of the pillows, crying.
