It was the day of Gaye's funeral. Every villain on the island was there. She laid in the glass coffin, holding white roses. Her skin was pale as if all the blood had been drawn from her body.
Mal stood on the little balcony of her mother's old house.
Everyone looked at her. She took a deep breath before opening her mouth. "We are gathered here today, for the memorial of Gaye." She started. "Yeah, who our so-called king murdered!" Someone yelled.
Mal was about to speak up when someone else opened their mouth.
"Yeah, where is he?!" They yelled. More people started to join in.
Mal glanced over her shoulder where Carlos was standing. Carlos sighed and walked up to her.
The villains all started to yell and scream at him.
"Shut it!" Mal exclaimed and used her magic to shut everyone up. "I know you're all very upset, angry, confused, scared-" Mal started again.
"We're not scared!" Someone exclaimed. "It's okay to be scared. But there is no need to be scared of Carlos. You see, Carlos was put under a spell. A rather dangerous and evil spell. A spell which I was put under once." She tells them, "I know what it can do to people. Carlos wasn't the one who killed Gaye, it was someone else.
Audrey, Sleeping Beauty's daughter, spelled him to get back at me. The spell hypnotized him and turned him into a monster." She tells them. She glances at the pirates who stood next to the coffin. "Yes, Gaye is dead.
But you can't bring back the dead, no matter how badly you miss them. But do not fear Carlos, he means no harm. We all know that. Carlos De Vil, that scared little boy from a couple of years ago? You all know, he would never do something like this." Mal poke,
"We, as villains, have been through so much. Auradon locked us up, took everything we possessed. But look around, and see what we have accomplished over the last year." She added. Everyone was silent as she spoke. "Over a year ago, my mother made me the queen of the Isle. She promised you, that I would lead you all through the darkest times.
This is a dark day. Every day on the Isle of the Lost is a dark day. We are still living in fear.
But, we are villains, they should be the ones living in fear!" Mal called and pointed towards Auradon.
"Yeah!" Some people yelled. "Auradon is the one who killed Gaye, not Carlos!" Mal said. Carlos looked at her. "What are you doing?" He asked her. "What I should've done a long time ago." She informs him.
She looks back at the people who looked at her. "I broke the barrier, for a better world. And yet, we still let Auradon decided what comes and goes? I think not. Auradon has ruled over this land for long enough!
And as long as they rule, my crown means nothing." She lectured, "Look in front of you. This is what happens when Auradon rules.
How many lives will they take until they're satisfied? They won't stop until we are all dead!" Mal added and looked at Gaye's corpse.
"Mal, what are you doing?" Carlos asked her again. Mal turned to him. "You were right. We can't let Ben get away with this. With anything." She tells him. "I said that months ago." Carlos reminds her. "But you were right.
Carlos, this is our time. No more living in fear. Isn't that what you've always wanted?" Mal asked him.
"I've only ever wanted you." He tells her and holds her hands, "I trust you, Mal, but do you really think this is the best solution?" He asked her. "I do," Mal tells him. Carlos brought her hands up to his lips and kissed them. "Then let's blow that popsicle stand." He said. Mal turned back to her people. "The time of heroes and saviors is over! It's time for us villains to rise!" Mal exclaimed. The people of the Isle all started to cheer. "Long live the queen! Long live the queen!" They all yelled.
Mal glanced at her friends who were also yelling the words. Mal put on a devilish smile, and let her eyes turn green. "Let's blow that popsicle stand!" She exclaimed. The people gathered their stuff and made their way over to the bridge that connected Auradon and the Isle.
They marched towards the magical land. As soon as they arrived, they started to attack the people and destroy anything standing in their way.
Mal and Carlos walked after them with smirks on their faces.
Carlos glanced down at her. "Why didn't we do this sooner? Look at the chaos, it's beautiful." He said. Mal smirked and nodded. "It sure is." She replied and looked up at him, "But we've got somewhere else to be." She continued. Carlos smirked and holds out his arm. "My lady." He said. Mal giggled and took his arm. Together they walked through the chaos and towards the palace. Mal then used her magic to push four guards away from the door. She smirked and stepped inside of the palace.
Meanwhile, Ben sat at his desk reading through some files. There was a knock on the door. "Come in!" Ben called.
The door opened and an unconscious guard fell on the floor. Been stood up from his seat.
Carlos and Mal then stepped into his office. "Hey, Benny Boo, long time no see," she said. Ben gulped as he saw the two villains in front of him.
Carlos walked up behind Mal. "What are we going to do to him?" He asked her as he puts his hand on her waist. Mal kept her eyes focused on Ben in front of them.
"I don't know, what do you want to do?" She asked Carlos. Carlos chuckled and pressed himself against Mal. "I want you to hurt him." He whispered in her ear.
Mal smirked and let her eyes turn green again as she stepped closer to Ben. Carlos smirked at her, his eyes having a slight bit of red in them.
He sat down and watched as Mal started to torture Ben. His groans and screams filled their ears with joy. This was more than revenge.
This was payback for everything he had ever done.A while later, almost all of Auradon's citizens were locked up in the dungeons of the caste. "Why are you doing this?" Adam asked Mal. Mal stepped forward and shrugged.
"I'm a villain right? I thought this is what we did. At least, that's what you've always told us." Mal tells him. Adam growled at her. Mal laughed at that. "Mal, you have to let us go," Belle said to her. Mal turned to the lady behind bars.
"And let you lock us all up again?" She questioned, "Don't you understand? Your time is up, the time of heroes has passed. It is time for the villains to rise." She tells them. "I knew it. You're just like your mother." Adam growled at her. Mal turned to look at him. She wrapped her hands around the bars and looked at him. "Oh no, I am far worse." She said. She then backed up from the bars. Carlos stood behind her, looking at them as well. "Carlos, you have to help us!" Jane called from her cell. Carlos smirked at her, another red glimpse in his eyes appeared. "No way." He tells her. Together, the two villains walked out of the dungeons again. They made their way towards the throne room. When they came in, most of the villains were already there. Mal walked inside and made her way towards Ben's throne. She stood in front of it, looking at her friends. "May this day always be remembered as our day. No more hiding in the shadows, no more living in fear, no more Auradon! This is our land now!" Mal exclaimed. She snapped her fingers and let a green cloud surround her. When the cloud faded away, she was holding a scepter like her mother and her crown on her head. She slowly sat on Ben's throne. She glanced at her friends and family. "To the villains!" She called. Everyone cheered. Carlos sat on the armrest of the throne. "To the king and queen!" Evie called. The other villains called after them. To the king and queen.
