Back in Auradon, Adam sat in his room thinking about his fight with his wife. He shouldn't have said some of those things. He had to find a way to make it up to her. And Mal. He hurt her for no reason. He lost his composure for a second. He has to apologize to both of them. He got snapped out of his thoughts by a roar in the halls. The former king's head shot up "What the-" He got cut off by the door opening. Belle ran in "We have to leave the castle!" she said. "Why? What was that roar?" He asked her. Belle ran towards her husband "Our son. We were too late, we won't be able to help him anymore. He's a beast!" She said. He rushed towards the window and opened it "We can't jump down!" Belle said. Adam grabbed her hand "We have to." He tells her.

Meanwhile, on the island, Uma was sitting on the docks by the shipwreck. She picked up a rock and threw it into the water and sighed. Mal had followed her to the docks. She stood behind Uma "Is this spot taken?" She asked. Uma looked up "Go on." She said. Mal sat down next to Uma "What are you doing here? The castle is back there." Mal said and giggles quietly. Uma shrugs "I was just looking for some time alone." She says. Mal looked down at her lap "Oh, should I-" "Nah, it's fine. It's better to talk to a person instead of the sea." Uma says. Mal looked at her "I will repair it soon, I promise." She tells Uma. Uma looked at the ship "Thanks, but it will never be the same." She says. Mal looked at the shipwreck "Why? It will be the exact same, it will be like it was before Ben set it on fire." She assures that her friend. Uma glances at her ship "It's just that...this ship is the only family I've had." She tells Mal, "My mom doesn't care about me. Harry and Gil are my friends, but the ship was my home. And it got destroyed." Uma throws another rock into the water. Mal sighs "And it is all my fault. I wasn't there when you needed me. I should've been there to protect this ship, your home!" Mal said. Uma shrugged "You can't blame yourself for the things that go wrong." Uma told her. "But I do. I'm queen now, but I can't even protect my home...or make it a better place." Mal says. Uma glances at her "Are you blaming yourself for becoming queen?" She asked. Mal shrugged "Maybe. Maybe I'm not the queen the Isle deserves." Mal shrugs. She looks at the wreck in the ocean "Heal her wounds, ignore the pain. Repair the ship till it's the same." Mal said and a green fog surrounded the shipwreck. Uma glanced at her friend "Thanks, Mal." Mal smiled "Well, this should take a while, how about you say goodbye to the sea and join us for lunch?" Mal said. Both girls stood up and walked towards the castle.

Meanwhile, Carlos was looking at the maps they had of the island. Hades walked in "What's ya doing?" He asked. Carlos holds up a map "Studying the maps. Mal told me to look for a place we can let children go to school." He tells him. Hades chuckled "What about Dragon Hall?" He asked. Carlos glanced at him "Dragon Hall is in a bad state. We might be able to rebuild it but Auradon won't let us." "Auradon doesn't control you. Especially not here. Carlos, you and Mal are the king and queen, you can fix the Isle and you don't have to listen to Ben. He's not the king of the Isle, you are." Hades said. Carlos nodded "You're right. We're no longer part of Auradon." Carlos said. Hades looked at him "Were you ever part of Auradon?" He asked. Carlos didn't answer. "That's what I thought. Need some help?" Hades asked.
