A couple of days have passed, and Hades was still nowhere to be found. They have searched the whole island by now, but it seems like he has completely disappeared from the earth. While Mal was worrying her butt off, Carlos was having the time of his life. He spent a lot of time in the throne room, sitting on his throne, wearing his crown, and drinking wine.
With people worrying about Hades, no one noticed his changed behavior. "Oh I just can't wait to be king." he sang to himself, "Oh wait, I already am!" he chuckled.
Yes, he was shocked by the fact that he got Mal pregnant. But Carlos had figured out a way to make this whole pregnancy thing to his advantage. He can make Mal's baby evil and let it kill her during birth. It will be a win-win situation!
Carlos's thoughts were interrupted when the door to the throne room opened. Carlos glanced up to see Melanie running towards him. He sat down hi wine and fake smiled and stood up from his throne. He picked up the little girl and kissed her cheek before sitting back down. "What are you doing here, pup? Isn't it past your bedtime?" Carlos asked her.
Melanie nodded and rubbed her eyes. "I had a nightmare." She tells her father as she holds her stuffed animal close to her. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked her.
She shook her head and snuggled into his chest. Inside, Carlos was throwing her off his chest...at least he was until he looked into her emerald green eyes. He wrapped his arms around her and holds her tightly. Melanie smiled.
"You're the best Daddy ever." She tells him. "Like you had another father," Carlos whispered to himself. Melanie glanced up. "What?" She asked him. He stroked her hair.
"Nothing, pup, get some sleep." He tells her. "I don't want to. I'm scared." Melanie whined. Carlos continued to stroke his daughter's hair. "Daddy will protect you, puppy," he tells her. Melanie sat up and frowned at her father.
"No! When I fall asleep you will leave me alone again." She pouts. Carlos shook his head. "I won't, puppy. Daddy will stay with you the whole night." He tells her. "You promise?" She questioned. Carlos nodded. "I promise." He replied.

About an hour has passed, and Melanie has fallen asleep on her father's chest. Carlos couldn't keep his eyes on the fragile creature that slept peacefully on top of him.
Turning her evil would be a lot easier than waiting nine months. Her innocence should be able to fool people in Auradon easily. Just imagine what life would be like.
Carlos ruling both Auradon and the Isle. He stood up from the throne and brought the little girl back to her room.
He was about to put her back in her bed when he remembered his promise. He sighed and brought his daughter to his own room. When he opened the door Mal was already fast asleep. He put Melanie in Mal's arms and admired them for a while.
He even smiled at them. He took off his shirt, to get ready for bed when he suddenly felt someone else's presence in the room. "Thought you ran off." He said and turned around. Audrey stepped out of the shadows.
"And I thought turning you evil would be fun. Guess we were both wrong." She said. Carlos chuckled and runs his hand through his hair. "You're still on that?" He asked her.
Audrey rolls her eyes at him.
"This was supposed to be my revenge." She reminds him. "Being a little selfish now are we?" He mocked her with a little smirk on his face. "Don't do this." She threats.
Carlos chuckles. "So tense. Does the princess need a massage to...loosen up?" He smirked as he got closer to her. He slowly ran his hand up and down her arm.
But Audrey wasn't very pleased with him. She slaps his hand off her arm. "When is my revenge coming?" She asked him sternly. "I'm working on it," Carlos tells her. "Knocking Mal up, sitting on a big chair, and drinking wine sure seems like getting revenge." She complains. Carlos rolls his eyes at her.
"Not everything is going according to plan, but we have the witch and the god. I don't see where things could go wrong." He tells her.
Audrey folds her arms over her chest. "I don't care. This was about me getting revenge." She complained. "And you will, it's just going to take some more time," Carlos tells her.
"It's taking too long. I can kill her right now if I want to." She informed him. She started to walk towards Mal when she was suddenly pushed against the wall.
Carlos holds her tightly against it. "Easy, Princess, no need to rush things. Revenge is about torture, make them feel what you felt. Give me some time, and she'll be even more fragile than old Cindy's glass slipper." He tells her.
"You have two days. I want her dead!" She responded raising her voice slightly. "Lower your voice, Princess. Only scream when I make you scream." He smirked at her. Audrey groaned and disappeared again.
