Back on the Isle, Carlos walked after Mal. He sighted "Mal what do you want me to do?" He asks. Mal doesn't answer "The silent treatment huh." Carlos says. Mal still didn't reply. She felt betrayed "Mal, could you at least try to understand why I did it?" He asks. Mal sighs "I can't." She tells him. He runs his hand through his hair "I did it for us, for the Isle." He tells her. Mal laughs "Us? If Ben had killed you there wouldn't have been an 'us'!" She says. Carlos sighs again "You're over-reacting." Carlos says. Mal left the room "Fine!" She said. Carlos groaned and punched the wall, he heard a quiet gasp as he did. He glanced over his shoulder and saw Melanie peeking from behind the wall. He looked down at her "Mel, Puppy, how long have you been standing there?" He asks the little girl. She looks down at her feet "Long." she said quietly "Are you and Mommy breaking up?" She asks. Carlos kneeled next to her "Of course not, Mommy's just a little angry at Daddy that's all." He tells her. Melanie frowns "Why would she be angry?" She asks. Carlos picks her up "Because Daddy did something Mommy told him not to. Don't worry about it, Puppy." He says. Melanie nods and kisses his nose "Breakfast!!" Melanie screams happily

In another room, Mal opened the door "Hook!" She said. Her eyes fell on the bed, Harry and Gaye were making out, she got sick by the sight. She cleared her throat "Hook, I have to talk to you. Alone." She tells him. Harry pulls away from his kiss "Later please." He said and continued to kiss Gaye. Mal walked towards them and pulled Harry away from Gaye. Harry groaned and tried to walk back to the bed. Mal pulled him out of the room "Did you help Carlos last night?" She asks him. Harry chuckled "Nope." He answered. Mal groaned and pushed him against the wall "Then why were you in my room last night?" She asks. Harry holds up his hands "Easy girl. Carlos just asked me to keep an eye on you in case you woke up." He said. Mal's eyes turned green "You knew he went to see Ben, why didn't you wake me?" She asks. Harry pushes her off "He said you would freak out and go after him. He wanted to talk to him without you being there. He wanted to protect you and the Isle." He tells her. Mal releases Harry "Go." She said. Harry left again leaving Mal alone in the hallway."Mal?" Someone said. Mal snapped her head towards the person on her right "Go away, Carlos." She said. Carlos stepped towards Mal "Mal I know you're angry at me but you don't have to break Harry." He tells her.

Mal groaned and walked passed him "You should leave me alone for a couple of hours." She said. Carlos grabbed her hand and pulled her back into his chest. Carlos puts his hands on her waist "You're not leaving until we've talked." He tells her. Mal sighs "I'm just trying to protect you from him." "That's exactly what I'm trying to do! I am trying to protect you and the rest of the Isle." He says. Mal looks up into his eyes "Puppy-" She starts "No Mal, I would never forgive myself if Ben ever hurt you. He tried, multiple times, and I wasn't there to protect you. I lost you, multiple times, and I am not willing to let that happen again." He tells her. Mal sighs "I'm sorry, I'm just worried about you. Ben hates you, he could've killed you." She reminds him. He strokes her cheek "I'm a tough guy, I can take care of myself." He says. Mal shakes her head "You got caught." She said, "Villains don't get caught." She plays with his hair. Carlos chuckles "It was part of the plan!" he said. Mal giggles "Sure, Puppy." She laughs. Carlos looks into her eyes "So you forgive me?" Mal nods "I forgive you." She says. Carlos smiles and locks his lips with hers.
