That night, Mal sat on the couch petting Dude as she watched her daughter play with her toys. Carlos joined Mal on the couch "Hey." Mal said. Carlos smiled at her "Hey." He said and kissed her. Carlos pulled back and petted Dude "How's he doing?" He asked Mal. She smiled "He's fine. No need to worry anymore." She told him. Carlos picked up the sleeping dog and lied him down on his pillow. When Carlos sat back down Mal snuggled into his chest "You and my Dad are getting along pretty well lately." She says. Carlos smiled and stroked her cheek "It's a lot better to have the former god of the underworld with you instead of against you. Besides, he's your dad." He said. Mal smiled "True. Have you heard anything from Auradon? Did they find Fairy Godmother?" She asked.
Carlos shook his head "I don't know. Usually, Jane sends us a message but apparently, no one has seen her in a while." He answered. Mal sat up and looked at Carlos "Don't you think that's a little odd? First Fairy Godmother disappears, then Adam and Belle ask us for help with Ben, and now Jane is gone too?" Mal said. Carlos brushes some hair out of Mal's face "I'll go back to Auradon tomorrow and I'll try to figure out what's going on." Carlos said. Mal smiled and lied back down on his chest "You're not going alone." "We'll see about that. Evil Dreams, baby." Carlos said. Mal yawned and closed her eyes falling asleep. The white-haired boy smiled and pulled a blanket over both of them. Carlos held Mal tightly in his arms and slowly started to drift into a peaceful sleep himself. Hades walked into the room and saw the two kids cuddling on the couch. He picked up Melanie "Let's get you to bed." He says. Melanie looked at her grandfather "Will you tell me a bedtime story?" She asked and yawned. Hades smiled "Of course." He tells her. Melanie looks at her parents on the couch "Mommy and Daddy were tired." Hades tells her. Melanie smiles "Night Mommy! Night Daddy!" She said. Hades brought Melanie to her room and tucked her in.

"Please Be careful." Mal said. Carlos puts on his jacket "Of course." He says. Mal hugged him from behind "Maybe the others should go with you. Or my dad. You know what, I'll come with you!" She says. Carlos chuckled "I'm going on my own. I'll be back in a few hours." He says. Mal pouts "I just don't have a good feeling about this. Adam and Belle didn't come here for no reason." Mal said. Carlos stroked her cheek "I'll be fine, they probably overreacted with the whole 'Ben turning into a beast' stuff. Now, be a good girl and stay here." He says and kisses Mal's forehead before he walked out. Mal sighs and runs after him "Carlos! Wait!" She said. Carlos turned around and looked at her "Baby-" "I'm going with you." She says. Carlos shook his head "No you're not. I told you to be a good girl and stay here." He says. Mal puts on her jacket "Good thing I'm not a good girl then." She said. Carlos chuckled and shook his head.
Meanwhile, in Auradon, Jane slowly started to wake up. She slowly sat up straight and looked around. She was in a forest, so it had to be Auradon, but it was dark and cold. She jumped at a roar coming from the trees behind her. She got up and looked at the trees "Hello? Is someone there?" She said. No one answered. Another roar sounded but this time it came from another direction. Jane jumped and decided to make a run for it. She ran as fast as she could, almost tripping over some logs sometimes. She continued to run but a dark figure jumped in front of her and roared. Jane fell on the ground and crawled backward. Tears were trailing down her cheeks, was she going to die? The figure picked her up and roared running back to the place Jane woke up at. Jane screamed and tried to free herself but the figure knocked her out again. It lied her down on the dirt and just looked at her...
