"Why is he doing that?" Evie asked in a panic. "If you would stop asking me that, I would be able to figure out," Mal complained. Evie nervously puts her fist against her lips. "Mal, you have to save him." She tells her friend. Mal glared at Evie. "Really? I didn't think of that before." Mal responded. "Would you two please stop bitch fighting and start saving my best friend!" Jay instructed. Both girls glared at him. The three friends started to argue with each other. "I am doing what I can!" Mal informed Jay. The young thief chuckled. "If you were then why is he still knocked out?" Jay pointed out. "I can't concentrate if you two keep talking!" Mal said. "So this is our fault?" Evie said. Mal groaned. "That's not what I said. I am just unable to concentrate with you breathing down my neck all the time." Mal complained. After a while of arguing and complaining, the door swung open. Hades walked inside. "Enough!" He yelled. Hades' hair light up and he stepped towards his daughter. "What's going on?" He asked. Mal explained the whole story to her father. The former god of the underworld walked towards the table and got his ember out of his pocket.

"What were you trying to do?" Hades asked his daughter. Mal looked up at her father. "Something is wrong with Carlos. Audrey spelled him." She started. "And you were trying to find that spell by looking into his brain? Mal, you know that spell is dangerous." Hades reminded her. Mal sighs. "I know, it just seemed like the only option I had. If I don't know what kind of spell it is, how can I break it?" She said. Hades puts one of his hands on his hips. "Listen to me very carefully, I understand you want to help him, but this is not how you do it. You can't just go into his brain; you could've damaged him for the rest of his life." Hades lectured. Mal sighed again. "I get it." She said. Hades glared at her. "You don't! You went through my stuff and used one of the most dangerous spells out there on someone you love! Next time you need help, come straight to me." The former god spoke. Mal rolled her eyes at her father. "Fine." She said. "Stop acting like a child, Mal. You could've killed him, you're lucky I was there on time." Hades said. "I get it. Can I go now?" The purple-haired girl stood up and walked towards the door. Hades grabbed her arm. "Never use that spell again, alright?" He asked her. She nodded. "I won't." She said.
