'Well...'

I know the gap between each series is quick but I'm lazy and can't be bothered to write for like a month in between each so were just gonna pretend that a month goes past yeah? Ok cool 😂

Over the next few days Colby and I hang out with his family. I also want a dog, like so bad right now so I keep slipping it into conversation with Colby

"You know there's nice places to walk with a dog in LA" I say holding one of Colbys dogs leads
"Is there now?"
"Yeah. I think it would be good for us to have one"
"Babe we live in separate apartments at the moment and anyway I don't think we can have animals where we're living"
"But we could sneak it in and out?"
"We can think about having a dog when we move out of the apartments"

Thankfully I didn't see my ex or Colbys ex. We went to the graveyard one last time for me to say goodbye to my Mamá and Abuela, Sam joined us that time. Now we are finally home in LA in Sams apartment having pizza night
"When are you guys going to do your next series?" Brennen asks
"Not sure" Sam shrugs his shoulder
"Well..." Colby starts
"Well what?" I raise my eyebrows
"So do you remember Jennifer said she had a cabin in the woods?"
"Cole Robert Brock if you say...." I point my finger at him
"I've messaged her and asked if we could borrow the cabin"
"¿Estás hablando en serio?" (Are you serious right now)
"I love you" Colby shrugs
"Yeah yeah" I take the pizza off Colbys plate and take a bite
"So were you going to tell us about this?" Sam asks
"Well..."
"Well what? Cole"
"Oooo she's called you Cole twice now" Kevin says
"I was going to surprise you with it"
"Ughhh Colby" Corey whines
"Babe I love you but you really gotta stop surprising us with haunted things. If you want to surprise me with something then get me flowers, chocolate, a dog I don't care but..."
"We're not having a dog"
"Whyyy" I extend the y at the end
"Babe no"
"I'm confused what just happened?" Kat asks laughing
"While we were in Kansas Talia remembered how much she loved Colby's dogs and has been bugging Colby for one since" Sam explains
"Colby it's proven that dogs help reduce stress and..."
"I know other things that can help reduce stress"
"Ewww ewww eww don't need to know" Kat puts her hands over her ears
"Fine" I cross my arms
"I promise we will have one one day" Colby pulls me into his chest kissing my forehead.

Everyone breaks off into their own little conversations, I pull away and go to the fridge to get out some white claws
"Wanna prank Colby?" Jake says sitting on the counter top next to the fridge. I hand him a white claw and he opens it
"What prank are you thinking?" I ask with a little smirk
"You pretend that you've bought a dog"
"I'm listening" I open up my white claw and take a sip
"Ok so I know someone who has recently got a puppy. The puppy has had its injections so we can borrow him"
"I'm liking this idea. Let's just hope Colby doesn't hate me to much" I laugh
"Naaa. It might make him want one himself" Jake shrugs getting off the counted top and back to the others who are now by the couch
"Talia come on we're about to play cards against humanity" Sam yells. I bring over a white claw for Colby as well as my own. Colby pulls me onto his lap as there's no other room on the couch.

After playing cards against humanity for a while we all go back to our own apartments. I take my makeup off and put on one of Colbys shirts. I put Netflix on my laptop watching Once Upon A Time, as usual I can hear footsteps in the living room. This is now just something I'm use to and have to ignore. After watching a couple episodes put my laptop away and close my eyes drifting off to sleep almost immediately.
