'Is This Actually A Good Idea?'

Part 4/7 of The Witches Forest

We get out of the tent as we're going to look for fire wood and rocks
"I'm actually really happy about this like look..." Colby starts and I hear a branch break
"Yo did you just hear that. It was like a growl" Sam says
"I heard a branch snap" I say holding on to Colby's arm
"I just yawned" Jake says to the camera
"No it was a growl like grrrr. Theres no bears in California right?" Sam asks us
"Sorry to break it to you Sam but yes there are" I sigh
"Oh god" we then hear the sound again
"That sounds like a motorbike not a bear"
"Or it could be a chainsaw" Corey says to me
"Oh fuck off. No don't like this. I'd rather be back at the Stanley Hotel" I shake my head as Colby pulls me closer to him. We go to carry on walking into the woods when we hear a yell "I'm more scared of people than I am of ghosts, is that messed up or nah" I nervously laugh
"Yo. We aren't alone here" Colby says taking the camera off Sam
"No there's definitely someone else here" Corey remarks making me shudder a little
"Is this actually a good idea?" I ask as we start walking down a path
"Probably not" Jake comments then skips off
"Question do we know where Jennifers cabin is? Like in comparison to this area" Sam asks
"Errm I think we're like 5 minuets away" Colby replies just as we hear more of the motorbike noises. We turn around to see some guys on bikes riding around, this puts us all at ease a little knowing the noises we heard weren't a chainsaw.

"Wait you want to go that way?" Sam asks Colby as he has walked off up a path
"Yeah that's up hill" Colby turns the camera round to the rest of us who are a little hesitant about going up there
"Isn't that going away from the camp and more into the woods?" I ask Colby who once again turns the camera round to face us
"But isn't that the point? Like to explore the woods babe"
"I dunno I just don't want us to get lost"
"We wont. Remember I was a boy scout"
"Hmmm" I hum in response
"What do you guys want to do?" Sam asks me, Jake and Corey
"Lets go" Colby says walking more. I sigh and begin to follow him "wait. Guys" Colby stops and bends down. I catch up to him as he picks up a jacket that looks like its been here a while
"You think its a homeless persons?"
"You think a homeless person lives out here?" Colby raises his eyebrows at Corey
"Errr I think" Jake starts
"Allá vamos" (here we go) I breath out
"Shhh. As I was saying. I think someone got killed and they" the boys start laughing, but me
"Dude wait we got a terot card reading. When we did the Stanley Hotel we had a psychic and then we randomly came here and we weren't expecting to be read at all by that lady. Is this not strange?" Colby says
"Not really. What is strange is how you suddenly came out with that after Jake made a bad joke about someone being killed"
"Im sorry" Jake pouts
"I thought I just saw someone" Corey says smiling, he does this when he's nervous or scared. We then hear something snap, like a twig
"Anyone else kinda freaked out? Like Corey just said he thought he saw someone and then we heard like a twig or something" I say looking around
"Lets just get some wood and head back to camp and we know there are people riding bikes around maybe someone is on a walk" Sam says trying to stop me from freaking out. We find some dry wood and head back to the camp
"Should we go and get some supplies like salt, water and food. Maybe some torches as well?" Colby says and we all agree. We get into Colby's car, this time I sit in the front with Colby's hand resting on my thigh.

"Ok what snacks do we want?" I ask bending down to look at the cereal bars at the store
"I got my snack right here" Colby says slapping my butt making me roll my eyes
"Amor be serious for a minuet"
"I am serious"
"Yeah yeah whatever you say" I stand up and grab some bars and candy for us "I'm going to the toilet while were here because I wanna go as long as I can without peeing in the woods" I laugh and dump the food into the cart before running off to the toilets. When I walk out I find the boys where I had left them, down the chocolate and Candy aisle. We get the stuff we need like salt, water and torches. We leave after paying and get back into Colbys car.
