Part 5/7 of The Witches Forest

Colby turns on the camera, probably to talk about what we're gonna do
"If there was ever a moment where I would kiss a guy it would be right here with you guys" Jake says in his sleeping bag
"Really? You swear?" Corey looks at Jake doe eyed. Sam claps and gets all our attention
"Right. So now it's dark outside we got this pot and firewood to make a fire. Hopefully Colby knows how to make sure we don't burn this place"
"Oh oh I got you man. I can build a tent and I can make a fire don't worry bro"
"I figured out this one thing that we can do which is not a seance" Colby zooms in on Corey who's eyes are just peaking out of his sleeping bag "it might even help us. It's called the fire ritual"
"What?" Corey looks concerned
"It's a way to get anything that's attached to us to leave"
"So like to cleanse us?" I question then shiver from how cold I am
"Yeah. What we're gonna do is grab objects that represent the spirts that are haunting us and use the fire ritual to like you say Talia to cleanse ourselves"
"Are you sure that's safe?" Corey pulls the sleeping bag down a little so we can now see his face
"Yeah I think so like we just throw the things in the fire and we should be good"
"But like you throw an ouija board into fire and it makes everything worse"
"I mean we could, we could try it" Jake sits up and my phone rings
"Do I even have service?" I pick up my phone "no what? Fuck sake why is this still happening" I show the boys and the camera that it has a no caller ID, they begin to freak out
"Are you going to answer it?" Jake asks
"No" I laugh
"You haven't had any random calls lately have you?" Colby asks turning the camera to face me
"Every now and then but I just ignore them. What about you Corey?"
"Yeah I have actually just at the most random and inconvenient times"
"I feel like there's something following you both"

"Dude the psychic said that Talia and Corey share something what if it's to do with the phone calls?" Sam asks in response to Jake
"Are you sure your numbers haven't been leaked?' Sam asks
"I don't think so" I reply shaking my head
"Bro remember after the Biltmore Talia felt like she was going crazy with the phone calls so she changed her number and phone like 3 times. It can't be that" Colby says in a worried tone
"Did you just hear that?"
"Hear what? I can't hear anything" I scrunch my face at Corey who is pointing behind him
"It was like a high piched..." Colby is cut off by a breathing sound
"I heard that this time"
"I heard a car sound" Jake says
"A car? No I heard a breath"
"Unzip the tent have a look" Sam motions to Corey. Corey opens up the tent but as he does we all hear a branch cracking and a sound as if a stone has been thrown
"Im actually really scared right now. What if there's actually someone...."
"Im with Talia I wanna go. Like come on I'm not even kidding I wanna go" Corey's phone begins to ring this time "bro what the fuck is happening?"
"Dude why is this happening?" Colby asks
"Lets go" Corey starts to get up
"Alright yeah lets go, lets go guys yeah come on" Colby agrees getting up as well. The rest of us follow Corey and Colby. Colby walks out the the tent still holding the camera "theres literally no one out here, there nothing here bro" I follow Corey out, Sam follows me out. We look around seeing that there's nothing about, not even an animal. Coreys phone continues to ring, which I'm surprised at, I thought he would have pressed the lock button to stop the noise. Finally the phone stops ringing
"If it rings again Ill answer it" Corey says looking at his phone.

"Maybe the sound we heard was something that fell out of the tree like a pinecone" I shrug trying to be reasonable
"The sound of the twig and rock, maybe. Like maybe an animal in the trees dropped something" Sam looks at me trying to calm everyone down.
"Ok we need to chill, its only just night and were already freaking out" Jake sighs
"I know animals don't like fire so what if we create the fire and do that ritual so were like 'safe' and we have something to like scare away anything that's actually coming at us" Sam says making sense
"Yes plus we will be able to be warmer because I'm actually frozen right now"
"Guys can I tell you something? When I started to get out of the tent I swear I heard someone" says Corey worriedly
"No you didn't. What the fuck" I jump up and down, wow I'm turning into Corey. Coreys phone rings again
"Bro just as I said it, it starts ringing again"
"Fuck off" I look around really creeped out as Corey answers the phone. He puts it on loud speaker and we hear what sounds like mumble jumble until I hear one word that frightens me more than anything "guys" I say shakingly and my eyes begin to water
"Babe what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
"Wait did anyone understand what that was?" Sam asks
"I do" I breath in
"Talia what did you hear"
"Malo"
"Oh god you heard that?" Colby says horrified and I nod
"What does malo mean?" Corey asks
"Your not gonna like it, and your gonna hate that you just said it. Its Spanish for evil one"
"No it doesn't. No your just messing with me"
"I wish I was Corey" the phone rings again, this time when Corey answers it theres no sound at all. Corey looks completely freaks out and starts to walk off into the woods
"No Corey you can't just walk off into the woods" Sam calls out to him trying to follow him
"Wait the fog bro. Jake stay here, T stay with him" Colby follows Sam and Corey. We can slightly hear them talking in the distance
"I really dont like this" I wipe the tears facing Jake
"I know, but I think were just freaking ourselves out"
"But why would that phone call be absolute nonsense then speak Spanish, like I'm the only one fluent, Colby knows quite a bit and you, Corey and Sam know a little, but why would it speak Spanish? Like that was directed towards me" I shake as Jake tries to calm me down.

The boys return to the tent and we decide that its probably best to light the fire. The boys sit on chairs while I sit on Colby's lap trying to take the warmth off him. Colby gives Jake some astronaut ice cream sandwiches while I just eat some Doritos. Jake tries the ice cream
"I don't taste anything"
"Its like a luckycharms marshmallow but with no taste" Corey says looking at Jake
"Let me try" Jake breaks a little off for me. I try it and pull a face "eww I don't like it. Its dry but then goes all slimy and and like warms up..." I end up gaging a little as I pick up a water bottle and try to get the taste out of my mouth while the boys all laugh at me although Colby rubs my back.
