'I'm Colbys girlfriend'

Part 4/7 of The Stanly Hotel

Once back at the hotel we all decide to take a nap. Me Colby and Jake squashed together while Sam and Corey are in some chairs. I'm woken up by a bang making me jump
"It's ok it was just Corey" Colby quietly says
"Yeah it went bang like that"
"Could it have been someone outside?"
"No look there's not even a door there"
"No way" Colby sounds a little weirded out
"What's going on?" I yawn stretching a little
"We heard a bang coming from this cupboard but there's no one about"
"How did I not wake up?" I laugh
"Honestly I have no idea. The bang was louder than what Corey did" Sam exclaims. We then hear another bang
"Dude it just happened again" Jake points to the cupboard. Corey opens the door to look and sees the hangers moving
"Yo what the fuck"
"Could it be because you opened the door fast?" Colby asks
"No bro last time they..."
"The camera isn't focusing" Sam says
"No it's not no it's not"
"No bro look" Sam shows Corey the camera
"Look at my arms I've got chills"
"Tbf I'm freezing right now" I say
"Seriously? It's not that cold" Colby says
"Look I've got goosebumps" I show my arm then get further under the covers in the bed "I'm going back to sleep" I say closing my eyes
"How are you not scared Talia with all of this going on?" I shrug my shoulders at Corey and feel the bed dip next to me then an arm around me knowing it's Colby I turn over so my head is resting on his chest
"Wake me up when.."
"September ends?" Jake says
"No when you lot want to start ghost hunting"

Colbys POV
I play with Talias hair while she falls asleep
"Dude has she opened that letter yet from her father?" Sam asks, it's just me and Sam awake now 
"Nope and I don't think she's going to being completely honest"
"I hope she isn't ignoring what happened again. Has she grieved?"
"She was never close to her dad so it didn't hit her as much as her Mamá or Abuela" I watch as Sam chuckles "what?" I ask
"It's just. Do you remember that one time her Mamá said that you would be the one to marry Talia" I smile at the memory of that day
"Yeah I do actually" my smile fades knowing she will won't be there to watch her daughter walk down the aisle or watch her grand kids be born and grow
"Hey I know what your thinking and they will be there, maybe not in person but they will be there"
"Who's going to give her away?" I look down at Talia peacefully sleeping
"I don't know bro, that's up to her who she asks, if she wants someone that is she might want to walk down the aisle herself" I chuckle
"Look at us talking as if she's said yes. I haven't even asked her to marry me yet"
"Do you really think she's going to say no?" Talia shifts in her sleep "I can promise you now that she won't say no. She said yes once before" Sam whispers
"Oh my god" I laugh "I can't believe my mom showed you that video. Talia and I were like 5"
"Tell me your not proposing with a gummy ring this time" Jake says stretching, not realising we had woken him up
"No don't worry"
"That video was so cute. Thank you Mrs Brock for sharing that gem" Jake laughs
"You think we should wake Corey and Talia up then start our investigation?"
"Sure. Hey Talia, baby wake up" I nudge her
"No 5 more minutes" she turns over pulling the cover over her head
"Babe come on or else I'll leave you here all on your own in a haunted room" I start to get out of bed
"No im up I'm awake" she sits up quickly and I laugh.

Talia's POV
Once we're all up we leave the room and go to the stairs first where the vortex is. Sam turns on the spirit box
"Ok so let's just have one person talk" Colby says pointing the camera at Corey and Sam then we here a voice come through
"I swear that just said 'no others'" I say
"I heard that to" Sam says
"'No others' is that what it said?" Corey asks and another voice comes through
"It said 'yeah'" Colby whisper yells
"Ok that's weird
"It was a woman again" Corey says freaked out
"And theres only one portrait of a woman up there" Jake points and we all turn to look then another voice comes through
"Did it just say 'look at that' as you turned the camera Colby?" I ask wide eyed
"What the... and the voice sounds the same each time like it sounds like the same person talking" Corey says jumping up and down.

We take the spirit box up to the painting of the woman and a few voices come through but we are unable to tell what they're saying. Jake takes the spirit box
"My names Jake, I don't know your name" the same woman's voice comes though saying 'I don't care'
"I don't care" Colby says laughing
"It's that what it said?" Corey asks
"Oh my god did Jake just get roasted by a ghost" I laugh
"Talia, Jake your not meant to joke around" 
"I mean I know I said I believe it now but like I'm still sceptical about things being paranormal, like....." this time a male voice comes though
"'It is real' It just said that and you were talking about being sceptical" we go to room 217 which is meant to be super haunted, we hear knocks and a few voices come through one in particular that scares Colby and I, at one point it said 'get off the property'. Jake ends up dropping the spirit box and braking it so we end up just walking back to our room.

"I'm sorry, I just feel like I've seen you before" this girl says looking at Colby, I take his hand feeling slightly uncomfortable Colby squeezes my hand
"Errm well we do YouTube and stuff" Sam says
"No. Did you do videos before that?"
"Vine?" Corey asks
"Yeah maybe vine at oak park mall?" She asks
"What? Yeah yeah we lived in Kansas"
"Oh same that's so cool" she says "I actually live in LA now, I'm an actress"
"Of course you are" I mumble causing Colby to nudge me
"That's crazy we all live in LA now as well" Sam says as he is the one who's spoken to her the most
"Well it was nice meeting you" I smile "come on guys let's go investigate" I go to walk away but Colby stops me
"This is like my favourite place, I feel very relaxed here" this make Corey nervously laugh
"Can we film you" Colby asks
"Sure I'm Jennifer"
"I'm Sam, this is Corey, Jake, Colby and Natalia"
"I'm Colbys girlfriend"
"Cool" Jennifer says in a tone as if she didn't know what else to say
"Babe chill a little" Colby whispers
"Sorry" I mutter
"Hey so we're just gonna walk around so if you wanna join you can" Sam says which really annoys me
"The 4th floor has a lot of children spirits and they like to mess with the people on that floor. They especially like room 428"
"Oh fuck off" I say "bye I'll see you guys back in LA" I say walking off
"Huh?" I hear Jake say
"That's our room dumb ass. Te juro por Dios que si veo a un niño al pie de la cama te voy a asesinar, Samual" (I swear to god if I see a child at the foot of the bed I will murder you Samual) I say walking back to the boys
"I have no clue what you just said but I feel like I'm in trouble" Sam says
"You can speak another language?" She asks
"Yeah my Mamá was Spanish so I grew up learning Spanish from her and my Abuela. And you" I point to Sam "you will in trouble if I wake up and see a damn child at the end of the bed"
"Oh you won't see a child you'll see a cowboy and he likes to kiss woman on the forehead and play with their hair when they're asleep" Sam moves the camera to face me and I hear him zoom in on my face
"Damn I'm getting jealous of a ghost"
"Not funny Colby. Sam your definitely going to be in trouble"
"Oh shit"
"At least your not in 401. There's an Irish man in there and he likes to touch girls necks and pull their hair"
"So he's a kinky spirit?" Jake says
"Ok I'm kinda freaking out now" I walk over to Colby who pulls me in for a hug. We start to walk down to the concert hall Colby next to Sam as I'm in front a little. Colby leans over to Sam a little and whispers
"Shes low-key kinda scary"
"I'm kinda uncomfortable with her being around" I whisper back
"You jealous?" Sam asks
"Pfft me jealous no never" I carry on walking as Sam and Colby laugh. We decide to go to the basement first before the concert hall.
