Once we arrive at suicide bridge, Brennen gets out the ouija board. By now the time is 12am and to be honest I am completely creeped out. Brennen sets up the camera and the board "Are you going to do it Talia?" He asks "Errrm...." "You don't have to princess no one is pressuring you" "I know. It's just I don't want to break the promise I made. I don't want Devyn to be mad at me. I mean I know I didn't actually say I promise I won't but I dunno" "It's up to you Talia" Brennen says sitting down. You know what? I'm gonna do it, what harm could it do "Ok I'll do it" I sit in between Brennen an Colby "As long as your sure" Colby gives me a reassuring smile. Brennen starts off the video and then we put our fingers on the planchette "If there are any spirits here that would like to talk to us, use our energy to communicate through the board" Colby says, the planchette doesn't move "Is there anyone or anything that would like to talk to us?" Nothing happens again "I knew this was bull shit. I dunno why Devyn was so against me doing it" I laugh but both Brennen and Colby look at me worried "You shouldn't taunt them" Colby says, for some reason I feel angry "Nothing happened and nothing will it's not real" I take my hand off the board and cross my arms "Babe your not meant to take your fingers off before saying goodbye" "What's the point in saying goodbye when there's nothing there?" "Calm down Talia. Maybe this was a bad idea" Brennen says. I take a deep breath "I'm sorry" I sigh "I promised I'd stay open minded with all of this and I haven't been" "Let's try again, that's if you want to" Brennen says "One last try" I put my fingers back on and take another deep breath while closing my eyes "if there is any spirit that would like to talk to us please do using the board and planchette" I start to feel a small vibration under my fingers. I open my eyes to see the planchette moving slowing to 'yes' "who's moving it?" "Not me" "Or me" after it lands on 'yes' Brennen asks another question "Did you die here?" The planchette moves to 'no' "How old were you when you died?" I ask and the planchette stays at 'no' "huh?" "No? No you didn't die?" Brennen asks and the planchette moves to 'yes' "Shit" Colby mutters "What? What's wrong?" I frown looking at him "If it didn't die it means it was never born" "So a demon?" I ask unsure, the planchette moves to 'yes' and Colby looks up worried "We should say goodbye and go" "One more question come on what's the worst that could happen?" Brennen pleads "I dunno bro, this is sketchy" "Seriously? You used to be so up for this kinda thing a year ago" "Yeah but Queen Mary changed how I see things and if this is a demon, I don't want it to get attached to Talia or me" the planchette starts to move and we say each letter as it moves 'e' 'r' 'e' 's' 'd' 'e' 'm' 'a' 's' 'i' 'a' 'd' 'o' 't' 'a' 'r' 'd' 'e' my eyes widen and start to water "Crap. We gotta go now" Colby says panicking "What does it mean?" Brennen asks "It's Spanish for...." Colby starts "Your to late" I let the tears fall from my face as I look at Brennens "Ok let's say goodbye" Colby moves the planchette to goodbye and we all say bye. As Brennen packs up the board I look around. I see a figure, the same one I saw at the Biltmore Hotel "Holy shit" "Babe what is it?" I can't speak so I just point to what I'm looking at "dude there's a person stood there" "Not a person" I shake my head "Let's go. Now" Colby takes my hand and we run to his car. When we're finally in the car Colby speeds home "I believe. I 100% believe now" I shake in the back of the car "Do you still want to carry on this series of proving the paranormal?" "Yes. As long as we aren't in any danger. Maybe one day I'll get to see Mamá and Abuela" we drop Brennen off at his apartment then head to ours "Want to sleep with me tonight?" Colby asks and immediate I nod my head. We walk in and go straight to the bedroom. We get changed and snuggle down under the covers "babe?" "Hmm" "Make sure you've packed an over night bag for next Friday. I've got a surprise for you" our anniversary is on Saturday so maybe we're going away. OMG wait he's proposing next Saturday! "I love you princess" "Te amo mi amor" I close my eyes and drift off to sleep. The next day I wake up while Colby is still asleep and message the girls group chat
