"Ok what's wrong?" Colby says as we're sat watching the sunset in a park after spending the day at Disney. Colby had a pic nic set up with twinkly lights everywhere which I'm guessing will turn on as soon as it's dark "What do you mean?" "You've been acting weird all day" Colby says "Nothings wrong" "I know you Talia. I know your mannerisms so I know when somethings wrong and I know when your lying" "Do you now? And what do I do?" "Well first of all you play with your fingers when your nervous" Colby picks up my right hand and kisses it making my giggle, it's starting to get dark now "What else?" "Well when you lie you scrunch you're nose up ever so slightly, anyone else would miss it but I don't. Then you blink 3 times in a row" "Huh didn't know that" I smile at Colby "So tell me. What's on your mind" I sigh heavily "I don't know what happened" I stand up and Colby gets up as well "What baby?" "I was hoping Kat would have text me by now" I take a deep breath "I swear last night I took it off and put it in the box but when I went to put it on this morning it wasn't there" "What wasn't there?" "My engagement ring. I can't find it" I look down at my hands ashamed "You mean this engagement ring" I lift my head up and see Colby get down on one knee holding the ring between his fingers just as the twinkly lights turn on "Colby..." "I know I already proposed but it wasn't how I planned it to go, so with the help of our friends i planned this day for you. So Natalia Luciana Martinez will you marry me" "Yes" I say laughing and Colby puts the ring on my finger then lifts me up spinning me around. He puts me down and I gently slap him "you ass I thought I'd actually lost the ring" "Sorry baby" I then hear loads of claps and cheers from behind me. I turn around to see all our friends, some holding their phones and cameras. Kat runs up to me squealing, she pulls me into a hug "Did you know about this?" I ask "Errrm kinda" I roll my eyes smiling while still hugging her "Ok time to celebrate" Brennen yells holding up a bottle of... well something "Celebrate what? We were already engaged" I say pulling away from Kat "Well we're celebrating again so here" Brennen holds a shot glass "Oh no I'm not drinking. I drank enough last night" I push the glass away "More for us then bro" he turns to Colby smiling. Colby looks at me "Go on. I'll drive home" I say "Where are our hugs?" I hear Colbys mum from behind "Lorraine, Mathew (random name) what are you guys doing here?" I ask turning around to see Colbys parents "We wanted to see you get engaged" Mathew says "Imagine if she had said no" Elton laughs "That would never happen" I say looking back at Colby "Good because I don't know what I would do" Colby leans down and kisses me
For the next couple of hours we all hang out before we decide it's time to leave. I drive Colby and I back to the apartments and we walk into Colbys and get ready for bed.
