Chapter 13

"Movie appreciation?" Itadori says, confused.

"Yup. From masterpieces to French movies with land mines of c-grade horror. It's gonna be non-stop for as long as you're awake. Of course, you're not just gonna watch them. You're gonna watch them with this guy." Gojo explains.

"What's this creepy-cute doll?" Itadori asks.

"You think it's cute?" Gojo says.

"That's not cute. That's an ugly thing. Hey, isn't that from the principal or whatever you call him of this school?" You say.

"Yup." Gojo replies.

As you said that, the cursed doll woke up and punched Yuji in the face.

"If you don't emit a constant flow of magical power, that cursed corpse will wake up. And attack you, like it just did. As I said earlier, since there's a variety of movies at your disposal... it can make your heart throb, make you anxious and excited... you can cry, laugh and feel damn nauseated. First, watch one full movie without waking that cursed corpse and without getting hurt." Gojo explains.

"This is training to maintain a constant output of magical power, no matter what emotion you're feeling. You can't emit too much or too little magical power. Right now, it's set to a minimal degree of magical power that even you can emit, but gradually it will demand a bigger output so never lose focus, okay?" Gojo adds.

"If it's like this, I can't lose focus even if I wanted to." Yuji says with a sigh.

"What do you wanna start with? I recommend this." Gojo pauses, picking up a film. "The heroine irritates me but she dies flashy in the end." Gojo says about said film.

"Wow, what a spoiler." Itadori says.

"I'll go with action fir-st." Yuji adds as the cursed doll punched him in the face.

You giggle a little before Yuji throws the doll at the floor.

"Damn it! Damn it!" Yuji curses.

"Even if you're irritated, keep the magical power constant." Gojo says.

"That way, you can improve your control on your cursed energy." You add.

"I'm glad someone was listening." Gojo declares.

"Ok. Let's leave Yuji to train." Gojo says.

You complied and said a brief goodbye to Yuji before following Gojo outside and into an open area near the abandoned house that Gojo was hiding Yuji in. You looked really confused but tried to hide the expression from Gojo, having the slightest inkling that Gojo would explain why he had decided to take you outside in the first place.

"Erm. Why have you taken me outside?" You ask curiously.

"Well, I said I would train you did I not? I'm going to help you get a grasp of your own cursed energy. You have potential, Y/N. You're just not exploiting it." Gojo explains. 

"Yeah you did say that didn't you?" You say with a slight chuckle.

"Ok focus your cursed energy and try to break that boulder a little." Gojo says.

"Ok." You reply.

You close your eyes and focus on your own cursed energy as a light bulb. As you did before. You knew the more cursed energy you put into it, the more the damage on the boulder would be. So you focused on attempting that. What you didn't know though when you focused on your cursed energy was that something unexpected was going to happen.

"I see you have finally discovered what cursed energy is." The voice says.

"I'm sorry? Who are you?" You ask the voice.
