Brandon/Scott's POV
It's been a month ever since I saw someone watching me. I haven't seen them again since... or at least I don't think I did. Hopefully it was just a coincidence.
It's finally the day of baseball tryouts. I'm not too nervous since there's not a lot of people as I thought. Everyone believes I have a higher chance of getting in since I actually have experience. But what scares me the most is my brother's trial is next week. I know I can play well but at the same time I'm distracted. I just need to concentrate on baseball and try to forget about my brother's trial for an hour.
Sheri and I still haven't talked ever since Valentine's day. I kind of miss talking to her but I guess I kind of deserve it for what I did. I've been pretty close to Bryce and Monty at this point. Charlie and I still talk but since he doesn't play baseball I don't see him as often anymore other then in classes. Monty has been pretty happy which confuses me. When Bryce teases him about it he would just joke around and avoid the question. Bryce assumes he has a secret girlfriend which can make sense but I don't get why he wouldn't tell us. Especially since him and Bryce are best friends.
Baseball tryouts are finally starting. Monty and Bryce both wished me good luck before we started. Everyone had to line up. They basically just tested us on our hitting, catching, and throwing skills. After that they let everyone go but asked the pitchers and catchers to stay. Even though I played catcher at my old school I kind of want to switch it up and be on the field so I left. Results are getting posted tonight so I'm pretty excited to see who made the team.

I got an email from coach Rick about the roster. I'm kind of nervous now to open it. What if I don't make it in? I start to doubt myself but I decided to quickly look at it anyways.

I was so happy I actually made it in. For a second there I got scared. A few minutes later I got a text from Monty.
Monty: Hey Scotty! Congrats on making the team!
Scott: Thanks man! I saw you made it too!
Monty: Yup we are going to be teammates once again.
Scott: Can't wait!
Monty: Bryce is having a party this weekend to congratulate all of the people who made the team. You should come.
Scott: Yeah I'll definitely be there!
Monty: Awesome!
Oh great, another party. Since when does Bryce not have parties. But I have to go since who knows what may happen.
