Maybe it was a bad idea to let TaeTae watch over Jinnie while he was cooking.
No.
It was definitely a bad idea letting a toddler watch a baby. An even worse idea was letting a toddler-like adult watch another baby-minded adult.
"Jinnie a baby." Yoongi hears from the living room. The caregiver thinks nothing of it.
"Chu need paci? Why?"
"TaeTae know why. Jinnie..."
"A big baby!" Yoongi would've ignored that too if it hadn't been followed by wailing. And it's all too familiar.
Yoongi drops everything and runs into the living room to see TaeTae standing and waving Jinnie's pacifier out of his reach while Jinnie is crying and reaching out for it.
"Tae, give it back to him right now." Yoongi demands and TaeTae drops it before running off. Yoongi knows where he's gone to hide but he'll let Hoseok handle him when the rest get back.
"Alright..." The caregiver picks up the pacifier before picking Jinnie up from the couch. "There's another paci in the kitchen, baby." Yoongi mumbles and Jinnie quiets down and presses his wet face into Yoongi's neck.
"Tae is so in trouble... No sweets for him."
Jinnie giggles at that and Yoongi smiles. That's the best sound ever.
