There’s a special daycare for littles. And in that daycare, interesting things happen every day.

~~~~~
“Chiminie, say jumping jacks.” Calls one little.
“No! Say jerky!” Calls another.
The caregivers had stepped out of the playroom to get food for the little ones. The bullies of the daycare have taken this chance to mess with the easiest target – Chiminie.
Said little buries his face in his Chimmy plushie but since one bully is sitting to his left while the other is sitting across from him, it doesn’t help him enough to keep his tears at bay.
“Leave Chiminie alone, meanies!” TaeTae exclaims, throwing a napkin at the bully sitting across from Chiminie. Chiminie leans to his right to rest his head on TaeTae’s shoulder. TaeTae immediately hugs his friend before turning to look at Kookie who’s sitting in front of him.
Kookie nods before exclaiming, “Luna noona! Moya an’ Chief bein’ meanies ‘gain.” The brown-haired boy glares at the bullies who glare back at him.
“Moya and Chief, you just got out of time out and now you’re going right back in.” The caregiver chides as she enters the room.
TaeTae and Kookie smile victorious as Moya and Chief are moved to the Reflection Room where they’ll likely be for the rest of the day.
~~~~~~

After eating, the littles – except Moya and Chief, of course – got to play a little longer before they had to take a nap.

Sitting in a corner with his own coloring books and crayons is Seokie. It’s been three days since he joined the daycare and he still hasn’t made a friend because he’s shy. He hates that he’s shy but he can’t help it.

“Can Jinnie color wit chu?”
Seokie practically jumps out of his skin when the question enters his ears. He looks up to see a curious Jinnie staring down at him. Seokie nods and waits until Jinnie is sitting down next to him to give him his Line Friends coloring book. Seokie then hands the little his second box of crayons.

“Seokie cawwy two, aways.” The little states and Jinnie smiles at the other boy.

“Tank chu. Seokie Jinnie fwiend now.” Jinnie states as the pink-haired boy opens the book. Seokie turns and beams at the pink-haired boy, his own soft brown hair falling into his eyes.

“Weally? Jinnie Seokie fwiend?” Seokie practically squeals, earning giggles from his new friend.

“Yesh.” Jinnie giggles, hugging Seokie who hugs him back eagerly.

At the same time in a corner on the opposite side of the room, Namu is trying to convince Suga not to fall asleep yet.

“Suga, dun sleep yet. Namu feel lonely if chu do.” Namu huffs, shaking his friend. But Suga isn’t really paying him attention as he’s already curled up with his Kumamon plushie.

“Sweep wit me, Namu.” Suga sleepily says, tugging on the bigger little’s shirt sleeve. Namu sighs before looking around at the other littles and caregivers before lying down with his friend. Suga gives the other little a sleepy smile before pecking the boy on the lips and smooshing himself into other boy’s chest.

“Nigh’, Nammie.” Suga sighs, closing his eyes.

“Night night, Sugs.” Namu whispers as he does the same.
Five minutes later the two little friends are fast asleep and it doesn’t take long for some of the other littles to notice.

“Chiminie, Kookie, wook.” TaeTae says quietly, pointing out the sleeping littles to his friends. The trio share a look before joining Namu and Suga in the corner.

Kookie lies down behind Namu, and once Chiminie is sandwiched between him and TaeTae, the bigger littles cuddle their smaller friend.

Three minutes later, the sleeping pile is noticed by Seokie and Jinnie.

“Jinnie, chu sweepy?” Seokie asks, staring at the sleeping little. Seokie definitely wasn’t asking because he himself was sleepy. And no, he definitely didn’t just yawn.

“Is Seokie sleepy? Jinnie sleep wit chu.” Jinnie giggles before dragging Seokie over to the sleeping corner. Jinnie lies down behind Suga, dragging Seokie down with him before hugging the brown-haired little to him.

“Sweet dweams, Seokie.” Jinnie whispers to his friend who’s already drifting off. Jinnie watches Seokie fall asleep before he himself drifts off too.

All seven of them slept there, even during nap time.
