I threw my pizza crust in the box, Ash was watching me.

“Watching me eat?  That’s weird” I picked the box up and threw it in the bin. The power was still out. Sam hadn’t called, I haven’t heard from him for hours.

I don’t know what he does these days; Brook is busy a lot lately as well. Her grandma always says she’s out with some guy or there in her room.

Candles make the atmosphere change; it feels kind of romantic sitting here with Ash. Holding his hand, never wanting him to disappear.

I’ve been thinking a lot about Ash graduating, when he leaves me. Goes and finds some other girl at University and forgets me. I keep on feeling like I will become invisible to him when he leaves.

“Ash…What will happen when you go to University? I don’t want you to leave me, I need you” His face showed worry as he turned to me.

“Forget about it. We’ll work it out when it happens. I’m not leaving though for nearly a year, lets enjoy it!” I smiled back at him then pulled the duvet over us.

“I wonder where Sam is… he hasn’t phoned me all day” I checked my phone for messages of him and found none.

“Brook is being like that. She’s always with some guy…never has time to phone me” I nodded then started to piece things together. Brook was always with some guy. Sam was always with some girl.

They could be…But that’s stupid. They would tell us…wouldn’t they? We didn’t tell Sam though. He found out.

“Ash!” He looked at me sleepily.

“Yes?” I needed to tell me. He would have a fit though. I was already picturing sick images in my head. My brother and my best friend! Ewwwww. Get out my head images.

“Brook and Sam are…” I was interrupted by the door slamming open. I turned to see the intruder and it was Sam.

“Oh…your back” He threw his bag down on the floor and moped to the kitchen. I followed after him leaving Ash on the floor, confused.

“Where have you been?” I whispered in his ear while he grabbed the milk.

“Out” He replied pouring a glass of milk for himself.

“Where?” He stared at me then started to walk off. I saw Ash on his phone talking to someone so followed Sam upstairs. His door was slamming shut as I climbed up the stairs. I flung it open so it hit the wall, smashed something and Sam turned to look at me in horror.

“What the hell?” He shouted starting pick glass up off the floor.

“When were you going to tell me you were secretly seeing my friend?” He stopped in his tracks then turned to stare at me.

“How do you know?”

“You figure certain things out after a long time”

“Well you did the exact same thing to me” With that he slammed the door shut in my face. I could hear things being thrown around his room, then ‘Diary of Jane’ started blasting through his speakers.

I’ve created a monster.
