The party was in full swing when we parked up. I could see all my friends stood around chatting and drinking. Tonight was going great until Ash decided to mess it up by nearly kissing me. That left me wondering if he felt the same way. Or it was a heat of the moment thing.

Sam insisted he carry me to the beach as it was a long walk. I refused to be seen being carried; I had a strong character to hold up. I swung my arm around Sam's neck so he could hold me weight; I started to limp in the direction of the beach. Soon Ash was next to me helping me; I shook him off and carried on limping.

Finally we arrived at the beach to see that Brook had lay a picnic blanket on the sand. I sat down down and placed my ankle on her lap. Everyone was walking towards us, asking why we were sat down.  Of course then I was telling the story about today, missing out the part where Ash nearly kissed me.

"How's it going?" Chase asked as he sat next to me. I shifted closer to him, feeling the heat radiate off him. It was starting to become cold.

"Not good" I mumbled, Chase pulled me in for a hug then he wrapped his arms around me, keeping me warm.

"It will be better soon" He smiled, looking at my ankle.

"I hope so" I muttered back. I was secretly thinking about Ash instead of my ankle. Things were messed up at the moment.

"You drinking?" Chase asked, standing up to go get a drink. I thought about what happened last time...

"Me and drink don't go well together" I smirked, remembering how much Sam shouted at me last time.

"Just one, can't harm you" Chase gave me pleading eyes; I was instantly persuaded and nodded. He ran off to get drinks, at that moment the dog arrived.

"Rhi" Ash was holding his hand out for me to go and walk with him.

"I have nothing to say to you" I replied, pushing my good foot in the sand. I heard him sigh but he stood his ground.

"Listen, about before..." Ash started but I interrupted him.

"Yes...you're a player. It was a spur of the moment thing. It's not like it meant anything to me" I lied looking at the sky, avoiding eye contact.

"Really? Will you come for a walk with me?" Ash nodded towards the sea. At that moment Chase walked back towards us, handed me my drink and muttered a by before stalking off in the opposite direction.

"Piggyback?" I asked him, looking at my ankle. He realised and nodded. I managed to climb onto his back and wrap my arms round his neck. He laughed then carried me off while girls watched, envy in their faces.
