“I should break up with you, Ash. I don’t deserve this” My throat was clenching into a tight hold as I tried to hold the tears that threatened to spill. He stared at me with sadness in his eyes and tried to move closer to me.
“Rhi, I’m sorry, I love you” Ash whispered as he took my hand in his. I immediately withdrew my hand and dared to look at the floor rather than face his eyes again.
“I don’t know what love is, between us anymore, Ash”
