(A day in the life of Alpine)

Alpine was snoozing away in its designated bassinet. Bucky was up early to polish his bike and Sam just returned from his morning run.

Sam was starting the coffee when he saw something out of place from the corner of his eyes. He quietly moved to the door when he bumped into Bucky.

"What the f-", Sam quickly placed his hand on Bucky's mouth.

Then, they heard the tree rustling. It was too quiet. Sam reaches for the gun in the drawer while Bucky grabbed the knife.

Suddenly, the windows broke and doors burst opened, men poured into the house, bearing the HYDRA symbol on their arms. Sam gunned down as much as he can while Bucky helped with the rest.

Bucky saw one of them pointing a gun towards Alpine. He tossed the knife to the guy and quickly grabbed his cat.

The HYDRA men retreated, seeing they lost majority of their men. Sam called for help while Bucky sat on the floor and made sure Alpine was alright.

"Thank God you're alright", Bucky hugged the white fluff that was asleep, now awake and stretching.

"I'm alright too, just in case you were wondering", Sam rolled his eyes.

Alpine meowed at Sam, which Bucky laughed at. "We're glad you're ok too", he said.
