Jack Benjamin x OC #3 (fanfic)

Suzanne feels pain all of the sudden at the crime scene. "Is this one of those contractions?", asks Greg.

Suzanne pulls a little of her dress's hem and she sees water coming down her legs. "I don't think so, I think baby is coming", says Suzanne before dropping her crime scene kit to clutch her stomach and groan in pain. Greg and Nick drive her to the hospital and everyone else are already there, including Shinzi, Magda and the newborn Crown Prince Thomas Tsubasa.

"But I'm only eight and a half month along", says Suzanne.

"Baby decide to come out early to be with mummy", says Nick.

"I need Jack", says Suzanne, sobbing.

Shinzi pretends not to hear that, despite his only daughter is fighting for her life, trying to deliver his grandchild.

Suzanne pushes and is surprised when the doctor says she just gave birth to a baby boy. "Not a word to anyone, doctor if you value your license practice", says Shinzi. The doctor nods and leaves the family after cleaning up the baby and stitching Suzanne back up.

"Jack...", says Suzanne.

"After his father? After what he did to you?", asks Nick.

"He never meant to harm me, Nick", says Suzanne.

"But who knows what his crazy mother would do if she finds out", says Shinzi.

Suzanne is at her apartment and Nick is napping at the couch while baby Jack has finished feeding and is asleep in her arms. Against her better judgement and everyone else's wishes, Suzanne presses FaceTime on Jack's number.

Jack wakes up to his phone vibrating under his pillow. When he sees Suzanne's number, he bolts up and towards the bathroom. He locks himself before answering her call. He couldn't be happier to see her.

"I'm going against people's wishes and my better judgement to call you", says Suzanne, "I want to show you this". She holds the phone and Jack can see a baby swaddling in a blue blanket and a blue Cap, asleep in Suzanne's arm.

"He's beautiful, Sue", Jack tries not to sob, but he won't be crying because he's sad. He's happy that both his son and lover are safe.

"His name is Jack", says Suzanne.

"You don't have to name him after me", he says.

"But I want to", says Suzanne, but before she could continue, Nick is rubbing his eyes, about to wake up. "Nick is waking up. I gotta go. Love you", she says and hangs up.

Jack places his phone at the counter top and cover his mouth. He doesn't want people to hear him cry, even if it's the tears of joy. He has to be strong, for Suzanne and little Jack. Then, the phone vibrates. A picture arrive - little Jack is smiling next to his mother for his first selfie. Jack immediately makes that picture into his wallpaper.

For a month, Suzanne secretly updates Jack on their son. Jack returns to his throne and now is struggling to restore peace between Gilboa and Gath, despite his mother and uncle's protests.

"There must be something that lifted his spirit", says William.

That night, Rose brings in her spy. "What news of Vegas?", she asks.

"The princess was with child, a girl", says the spy.

"What good does a girl can do?", says Rose, "I want a boy so he could carry on his father's name".

"When did the princess gave birth?", asks William.

"About two months ago, Your Grace", says the spy, "But, Your Graces, there's been a rumour that it could be a boy".
