You, Bucky and the Avengers helped Peter and his friends with their fight against Ronan. You got close to Groot with him being sweet and all.
Bucky got a little jealous but kept his distance because Rocket was itching to rip his left arm off. After the fight, you felt sad because Groot had sacrificed himself, but Rocket managed to find some scrape of Groot, where he had given one to you.
"Now we have a Groot each!", said Rocket.
Back at Earth, you kept your Groot company which made Bucky jealous.
"(Y/N), we need to talk", said Bucky.
"Can I have a minute? I need to water Groot", you said and Baby Groot gave you a smile.
"NO! WE NEED TO TALK NOW!", he yelled, "You kept giving that tree attention!! What about me?!!".
You sighed. Then, you had an idea. You picked Baby Groot up and shoved the pot to Bucky.
"I don't want to touch it!", he huffed. You whispered something to Baby Groot and he immediately made the best puppy eyed he could to Bucky. "Nope, not working!", he said as he crossed his arms.
"I am Groot?", said Baby Groot as he reached out to Bucky.
Bucky hesitated at first but gave up in the end and held the pot. Baby Groot immediately hugged and snuggled at Bucky. Bucky smiled at Baby Groot.
"I'm sorry if I ignored you Bucky. Groot is still a baby, which means he needs my attention more than you do. I love you, Bucky, always have and always will. Besides, we had our 'fun' last night?", you said as you joined the hug.
"I love you too", said Bucky.
"I am Groot?", asked Baby Groot.
Bucky chuckled and said, "I love you too, Groot".
"I am Groot!!", said Baby Groot happily.
