Chapter 47 - Long Ride

This chapter is dedicated to MNL48, their fans, and to Coleen, Abby, Belle and Sheki.

August 8, 2015, Saturday.

Sharmaine was riding on her Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcyle and she decided to go to Lauren's house. Sharmaine lives in Kirklees, Escoda City. It's outside of the Greater District, going east.

"Hello ate Lauren. Free ka ba today?" Sharmaine asked on the phone.

"Oo free ako. Anong ganap?" Lauren asked.

"Yun ate, long ride sana tayo. Ako naman manglilibre ng foods!" Sharmaine said.

"Sure! Sama ako!" Lauren replied.

"Daanan kita dyan sa inyo ate. Saan ka ba nakatira?" Sharmaine asked again.

"Dito sa Crosariol Village. Sabihin mo sa guard sa Santos residence. Kilala na ako duon."

And Sharmaine went a motorcycle ride to Crosariol Private Village. She passed by the East Part of the Promenada Skyway passing by the Greater District, Financial Area, then exiting near the village. She was wearing a leather jacket and a matte black Shoei helmet. Within an hour, she arrived.

"Nice bike!" Lauren said, giving a high-five to Sharmaine. Lauren saw that she owns a Harley-Davidson Fat Boy.

"Thanks ate! Gift sa akin ito ni mama at papa. Pang-transportation po. Though I have a car at home, mas preferred kong mag motor po." Sharmaine smiled.

"Yan ang gusto kong matutunan. Ang mag-drive ng motor, kahit na marunong akong magdrive ng kotse, still hindi ko natutunang magdrive ng motor." Lauren said.

"Ayun ate, yayayain ko din sina Avanna at si Shekinah kasi alam ko may mga motorcycle din sila." Sharmaine said.

Brielle went out and was eating a cheese sandwich.

"Hello Sharmaine!" Brielle said, giving a high-five to Lauren.

"Hello ate Brielle!" Sharmaine said.

"Nagyayaya si Sharmaine ng long ride. Sasama ako ngayon. Diba may motor ka na binili galing ng San Jose? Sama ka? Angkas ako sayo." Lauren asked.

"Sige ate!" Brielle replied. As you may not ask, Brielle has a bought an old-school, Suzuki Inazuma 750 from 2002. So, Brielle went outside, took her helmets, and gave one to Lauren. Kinuha nya din ang motor niya duon sa garahe.

"Nice-looking retro bike! Parang bago!" Sharmaine smiled. "So, tara na?"

"Tara!" Lauren said. Umangkas siya sa motor ni Brielle.

And they rode together going to Shekinah's five-storey flat apartment near the 32,000 capacity Northern Escoda FC stadium. Shekinah's living in Daanghari Avenue, it's in Northern Rochdale District. Sheki's a big fan of Northern Escoda and her family. It's 7 kilometers away from Escoda City Stadium.

"Shekinah! Tara sama ka sa amin!" Lauren said.

"Uy guys! Dyan pala kayo! Ate Brielle, nice sumama ka rin!" Shekinah smiled.

"Tara, long rides tayo!" Brielle said.

"Sige ba!" Shekinah said. "Pero, park muna kayo dyan sa garahe. Lunch muna tayo. Paglulutuan ko kayo."

Shekinah's room in her family's flat was decent. Her family lives in the ground floor whilst she lives in the fifth floor. The flooring are made from ceramic tiles, at single lang ang bedroom. Living room, bathroom at kitchen ang makikita mo as soon as you step inside her flat. Bali yung rooftop ginagamit for gatherings. At kapag walang pambili ng tickets for the game ay matatanaw nila sa rooftop ang football match tutal malapit naman ang flat nila sa stadium.
