"Paul, it's now time to test JP. I know na hindi ito susuko sa akin. I know that he is for me and I'm for him. I really wanted to love him, kasi nakikita kong mahal niya talaga ako." Lauren said.
"Good. Sabihan ko na si Katrina, para walang maging malisya, okay?" Paul requested.
"Go ahead, take your time!" Lauren replied with a smile.
That night, Lauren talked to William and Rita in her room. Nanduon si Brielle.
"Mama, pansin nyo po bang nahuhulog na po si JP sa akin? Kasi nung nakaraan, he gave me roses and chocolates. Lagi yan. He's a man of surprises, I guess?" Lauren said to her parents.
"Oo nak, pansin nga namin." William replied.
"Alam mo anak, if you love JP, go love him. But first, test him if he really cares for you. Mahirap mangyari ang pinagtagpo kayo pero di tinadhana. Masakit yun." Rita answered.
"At alam mo Lauren, matured kang tao. I know na may ways at time ka para magkaroon ng lovelife. You have your own thinking already. If you love JP and if JP loves you too, then go and love each other. Basta, alam mo ang responsibilities mo as a person with relationship. I know that JP inspires you aside from us and God. And make your relationship God-centred. Mas masaya na parehas kayong may takot sa Diyos. Mareresolbahan ninyo ang lahat pag may wisdom ang Lord sa inyo." William smiled. "Nakita rin namin na mahal ka ni JP nung time na sinayaw ka niya ng debut mo."
"Tama si papa mo Lauren. At nandito naman kami, para suportahan ang things na gusto mo. Just do it with God's wisdom." Rita answered.
"Thank you mum. Thanks for understanding. At salamat din po kasi nakinig kayo sa inopen-up ko. Sa totoo lang, natatakot po akong sabihin sa inyo na ako, may feelings of love na din po ako kay JP, kahit nung bata pa kami. Natatakot po ako baka kasi pagalitan ninyo po ako dahil sa inopen up ko sa inyo." Lauren said with a smile.
"Anak, wala sa amin yun. Dumaan na din kami dyan ni dad mo. Ang sa amin lang, bigyan ka ng advice. It's up to you if you are willing to listen or not. But I'm happy that you're brave enough to open it up. We love you Lauren." Rita said, and she hugged Lauren.
Bakit mas nakakaintindi sina Rita at William sa damdamin na meron si Lauren kay JP? Samantalang si Kate, hindi? Napaka-overprotective.
Little did they knew that Kate was listening outside the door. She was really against the ideas that her parents gave to Lauren. She stormed the room.
"Mama, papa. Hindi niyo pa dapat pinapayagang ipaligaw yan sa iba!" Kate said. "Mahirap na! Natatakot ako baka kung anong gawin sa kanya ng mga lalaking mangliligaw sa kanya!"
"Kate! Magandang nag-open na siya ng totoo. It's about her, not yours. She was brave enough to open her true feelings about it. As for us, it's fine for her to let her try. Malaki na siya. She has her own free will." William replied.
"So ako, wala na rin akong karapatan na magdecide para kay Lauren? Iniingatan ko lang naman si Lauren ma sa mga lalaki ah!" Kate said.
"As your dad said, may free will na siya. And plus, nasa legal age na siya. Let her try. If she fails, then we'll give her an advice on how to cope up. But if she succeeds, then no problem about that. Kate, protect her but don't get exaggerated dahil lahat ng lalaki mangloloko? Hindi naman lahat eh. Kaya nga binibigayan namin si Lauren ng good advice. Dumaan na kami dyan." Rita said.
Kate scratched her head in frustration.
"Fine. Basta mommy, pag may nangyari sa kanya, pananagutan niya na yan!" Kate said, then stormed off the room.
