Chapter 41 - The Big Business

June 15, 2015, Monday.

Taylor called Lauren on the phone that morning. The family was having breakfast at papasok na din sa trabaho sina Kate at Rita.

"Taylor! Kamusta ka? It's been a few days since the party!" Lauren said.

"Eto, mabuti naman! Pwede na kayong pumunta dito mamaya nina Mrs. Bates sa business proposal ninyo. Sabi, sasama daw si ate Mary sa inyo tonight?" Taylor asked.

"Wala si ate Mary eh. Nasa Los Angeles na daw." Lauren replied.

"At ichachat ko lang si Mrs. Stephanie regarding dito, kung nakaready na yung proposals niya. Pag okay na, mamayang gabi, magpoproceed na kami dyan sa inyo." Lauren replied.

"Yun! O sige, chat mo na lang ako pag tutuloy kayo ah. Salamat!" Taylor said, then dropped the call.

"Nak, si Taylor ba ang kausap mo?" William asked.

"Opo dad. Tinatanong po kung ready na yung business proposal ni Mrs. Bates. Kasi kung ready na po ay pwede na tayong makipagmeeting daw sa mother ni Mrs. Bates." Lauren replied.

"Sige, chat mo na si Mrs. Bates kung ready na yung presentation niya." William said.

"Dad, sasama po kami nina mama ah." Kate said.

"Of course anak!" William replied.

After eating breakfast, Lauren went to Stephanie's house. Stephanie was also eating breakfast with her children, at habang nagfifinalize ng presentation.

"Hello Mrs. Bates!" Lauren said, waving at Stephanie.

"Good morning Lauren! What brings you here?" Stephanie said. "Please come in!"

Pumasok si Lauren sa loob ng bahay nila. Stephanie.

"Mrs. Bates, my friend Taylor is asking if you have finished your presentation already?" Lauren asked.

"All of the slides are done now, and I'm just finalizing it." Stephanie replied.

"Great! Because she said that once you've finalized your presentation, then we can go to her manor in Table Hills and present it to the shareholders of her company!" Lauren answered.

"That's nice! Allow me to finish the presentation this morning then we will proceed to go there tonight!" Stephanie smiled. And yes, that same morning, natapos na ni Stephanie ang presentation.

That afternoon, Taylor called Lauren again.

"Lauren, ready na kayong pumunta dito? Sino-sino kayong magkakasama?" Taylor asked.

"Kaming buong pamilya, pati sina Mrs. Bates. Sasama din daw sina Erica, Christine at Tessa." Lauren replied.

"O sige sige. Basta tawag ka lang pag on the way na kayo ah. See you later my friend!" Taylor smiled.

And Taylor was excited too. If this business proposal pushes through, for sure, it will make her help more people. Hindi niya na iisiping magiging mayaman siya dito on her own, but, yung makatulong sa community ang habol niya. She loves Table Hills and her city. That's it.

Everyone's now ready to travel. Sasakay si Stephanie sa Ford Kuga na kotse at kasama niya ang mga anak niya pati ang isang nanny. Hindi makakasama sina Chef Jane at Daniella dahil duduty raw sila sa restaurant nila while they're away.

"Mommy Rita, Daddy William, thank you po kasi isasama niyo po kami ngayon sa business trip ninyo. Baka naman po maging pabigat kami sa inyo?" Christine said.

"Not really! Gusto ko ring may kasama si Lauren duon sa guesthouse nina Taylor once na magsimula na yung business meeting namin." Rita replied.

"Mommy, thank you po talaga. Thanks for your trust to us. Kasi kahit pagkabata pa po namin, ay lagi niyo na kaming kasama. And mommy, hopefully, maging successful yung proposal po ninyo." Erica added.
